QUESTIONNAIRE
ANALYSIS

• From the first question you can see the most popular answer is 11-20 year olds with
52.6%. This makes the result conclusive as it was the answer I expected. This is also
because I predicted that mainly teens and young adults would be the ones to watch
the music video and they have answered the questionnaire. This is important because
from seeing the demographic and physiographic task I know that stereotypically
aspirers fall under this this category and this is the group of people I watch to be
watching the video. As the video is a pop/hip hop video it is going to attract aspirers
as they are always listening to the new, current and up to date videos. As a result this
will have no change in my production as it is the result I wanted
• The gender that most answered the questionnaire is female with 84.2%. This means the
result is conclusive as stereotypically mainly females are aspirers and always are
chasing after the artists in the pop charts and and this what I expect for our music
video. This therefore doesn't make a change for the production as its what I expected
• The top result for this question is white/british with 84.2%. This is a conclusive result as
once again like most of the questions its what I expected the result to be. This is
because the majority of ethnicity in England is white/british and as they will be
watching the video this is good. This is therefore not going to make a change in the
production as it’s the result I expected
• The top result for this question is middle class with 42.1%. This makes the result
conclusive as its the result I expected. As the music video will intend to attract aspirers
and stereotypically the middle class is where you will find most of this categories.
Another big minority was students and working class, this two both link to middle class
because most of the students are actually middle class anyway. Therefore this question
isn't going to have any effect on my production
• The top result from this question was to have the actors wearing casual wear with
57.9%. This in both conclusive and inconclusive. Reason being it is the result I expected
because of the target audience we are approaching but its not the result that I wanted.
This is because Kent jones both appears in pop and urban genres and part of this
urban style is the street wear and that is what we want to use for our video. This will
have some effect on the production because we might have to involve some elements
of just casual wear to keep everyone interesting therefore accommodating both
groups of people which are the aspirers and YAKS who follow the more urban style.
• This result is conclusive as it is 100% the result I expected with pop being the top
result. As I am targeting middle class mainstreamers and aspirers they stereotypically
are always listening to the new up to date music and most of the time everything in
the charts is pop music therefore what they would be listening to. The will not effect
the production at all
• Mid shot is the most popular result and this is conclusive. I expected this result being
as it allows you to see what the actors are going to be in the music video as well as
showing most of their surroundings. This wont make any changes when it comes to
production as I was planning on mainly using mid shots as I personally think that using
mid shots mainly mixed in with and few other shot types every now and then will make
the video look very clean and flow well
• This question would just apply to the digipack as it’s a question based on the posters.
The result is bright colors. This is conclusive as we planned on using bright colors as
we think that will draw the audience in to look at the poster and advertisement. This
will make no change in production.
DIGIPAKS
• All of the questions answered are applicable for both the digipacks and the video as
they are generic questions that actually would apply for both the fore why I have only
based this PowerPoint off of just one of the questionnaires. I felt like only the last
question would just apply to the Digi pack therefore why it is the only question
focusing on that rather than the video.

This will have some effect on the production because we might have to involve some elements of just casual wear to keep everyone interesting therefore accommodating both groups of people which are the aspirers and YAKS who follow the more urban style.

  • 13. • This result is conclusive as it is 100% the result I expected with pop being the top result. As I am targeting middle class mainstreamers and aspirers they stereotypically are always listening to the new up to date music and most of the time everything in the charts is pop music therefore what they would be listening to. The will not effect the production at all

  • 15. • Mid shot is the most popular result and this is conclusive. I expected this result being as it allows you to see what the actors are going to be in the music video as well as showing most of their surroundings. This wont make any changes when it comes to production as I was planning on mainly using mid shots as I personally think that using mid shots mainly mixed in with and few other shot types every now and then will make the video look very clean and flow well

  • 17. • This question would just apply to the digipack as it’s a question based on the posters. The result is bright colors. This is conclusive as we planned on using bright colors as we think that will draw the audience in to look at the poster and advertisement. This will make no change in production.

DIGIPAKS • All of the questions answered are applicable for both the digipacks and the video as they are generic questions that actually would apply for both the fore why I have only based this PowerPoint off of just one of the questionnaires. I felt like only the last question would just apply to the Digi pack therefore why it is the only question focusing on that rather than the video.
