Conclusions
Background
Maxipullet™ contains 5 feed additives
recognized as major antioxidants &
immune modulators in bird nutrition.
Better pullet development & immunity
at transfer can influence the laying
performance (start of lay, egg mass, shell
quality and lay persistence).
Results*
The trial was well executed, the birds presented good health with low mortality
and low oxidative stress.
At123days,increasedweight(p<0.05),betterFeedconversion83-123days(p<0.05)
& better tibia strength obtained with B, C & D (p<0.10).
At 123 days, higher number of birds with higher antibody titers as log (NewCastle
disease) observed with C & D (p<0.10).
No significant difference in mortality, flock uniformity, blood oxidation stress.

• MaxiPullet™ significantly improved the weight of pullets at 123
days and feed conversion at 83-123 days with treatments
B, C & D. Tibia strength with treatments B, C & D was increased
and antibodytiters(Newcastle disease) at123 dayswere higher
with treatments C & D.
• Supplementation of MaxiPullet™ showed a positive effect for
improving the general health and immune status of the birds.

Trial details
• Birds: 1040 Isa Brown pullets in
enriched cages, 4 X 10 pens of 26
pullets
• Basal Diet: wheat-corn-soya meal
• Experimental period: From 1 day to
17 weeks
• Treatments: Control A, MaxiPullet™
B: 0.2% C: 0.4% D: 0.6% (on top of A)
• Parameters: feed intake, body
weight, mortality, blood antibody
titers for NewCastle Disease, Blood
oxidation stress, tibia strength
• Farm condition: Production site with a
good health status & performance
• Statistics: SAS software
