1. Tom Altepeter
Tom Altepter was the first person I decided to follow. Tom Altepeter is a very inspirational man. His
tweets are strong and very true. His tweets about being racist are very true. People today are still racist.
Tom is a huge sports fan. He loves Notre Dame. The most interesting tweet that he posted was on April
26, 2014. He tweeted, “Does anyone else get followed by the major portion of the student body at
Marshall University?” I may have laughed a little too hard over this tweet. I tweeted him back and told
him the reason. He also tweeted back and it kind of made my night.
Steve Anderson
The second person that I followed was Steven W. Anderson. From all of his tweets, I knew that he loved
technology. He tweets about technology all the time and I agree with the points that he raises. He
tweets every day, “Good morning, be awesome.” I enjoyed that he focused more so on technology. The
overall theme of Steve’s twitter was based on technology, not about family.
David Truss
The third person that I followed was David Truss. He was probably my favorite person to follow. He has
a lot of good advice. It may not be all about teaching, but it has some good aspects all over the world. I
got all kinds of very great tips on how to be happy. You can really tell how well he understands
technology and wants to use it in the classroom. Critical thinking was one of his main concerns. The
overall theme to his tweets was happiness.
Chris Weji
The fourth person that I followed was Chris Weji. Chris is a huge family man. He is also very passionate
about assessment, which I do not like. I do not approve of assessment in the classroom. Wait, I do, but
not on paper. There are other ways to assess your students. He generally posted links and asked for are
opinion’s on it. I can tell he is a good teacher because he wants his students to learn. He just doesn’t
think teaching is a job, it is his life.
Ci350 class
The last person that I followed was Harold Blanco on the Ci350class. Someof his tweets are about biking
and it makes me tired. I wish I had the dedication to bike as much as him and to have free time. Some of
his tweets are very interesting to read. I also feel like he loves faculty senate meetings. One of my
favorite tweets was when he posted a photo shopped picture of him dressed in a Santa clause suit.
