The first person I chose to follow was Dwight Carter. He is the principal for New Albany HS and
his tweets are about edchats, and meetings he took part in. He also tweets with the hashtag BeGreat,
when he tweets those hashtags he normally says something about making it a great day, the choice is
yours. I liked is tweets, I even retweeted some of them for my followers to view. I did not dislike any of
his tweets. My overall opinion on his twitter is good, I am glad I was able to follow him.
The next person I followed was a man named D Martin, He is a Math teacher in Canada. His
tweets theme was getting rid of test and engaging students in other ways than a test. Recently he was in
a debate with another gentleman on twitter about test taking. As a future math teacher I am intrigued
with what he is saying. With is tweets I am sort of taking notes because he is a good teacher, and that is
my goal, I want to become a great teacher.
I also followed Harold Blanco (@CI350). At first I never really noticed his tweets. The tweet I
realized he was a tweeter was when the man was killed by an officer with an illegal chokehold. I
immediately took interest in this topic and did a little research on my own to see what all the
commotion was about. Mainly his tweets were educational, and he also has some tweets that keep
people informed on what is going on around them.
Wise in WV was the next tweeter I followed. The theme of their tweets were health related such
as, safe sex and aids testing and hiring in West Virginia. Very positive tweets, I enjoy seeing positive
news everyday it makes the days better. Very inspirational account. I will continue to follow this account
after this class because of how positive it is, and it makes me aware of free testing.
The last account I followed was a man named Michael Carbonaro. He is a magician and has his
own TV show. Most of his tweets are about his show, and he also retweets people who tweet about his
show. I find great interest in his show because I like to watch the reactions of the people he performs
magic on. I like some of his tweets but mostly he tweets about the stuff people say in his show.
