1. We Are North East
Presentation
My Main idea is to create a poster for the client representing the northeast in its
best form. The poster will include different places/people/regions trying to relate to
more and more people within the northeast.
2. Summary Of The Idea
It’s an A3 Size poster, presenting The northeast from a youth point of view. This
means there will be multiple environments presented on the poster and people
from different places. Connecting with different ethnicity within the cities of
their life. Furthermore, this will also link with my casts as I want everyone
involved within the image of my poster to be from different backgrounds and
different gender making sure I can explore and be creative with it as much as
possible.
3. Client
The client for this project is Sunderland culture, mainly towards the northeast
region. Sunderland Culture has requested a final submission of a short fictional
film or documentary also possible to create a print media meaning a poster but
this is only if the individual wants to: Therefore you've got 2 main product
choices. The audience for this project is within 16-25 suggesting it’s influential
by social media and resembles highly trendy content.
4. Audience Emotional Manipulation
Originally the audience was identified by age (16-25)
making it basic of what I’ll need to interpret in my project to
link with their identity but also present resemblance. The
Colour scheme will be alike some of the major companies
within an advertisement (NIKE/ADIDAS/ROLEX/RED BULL,
etc.)
I’ve also realised there could be emotion presented by the
colour individually like the image example shown.
5. Audience Age Interpretation
Within the audience for this project, there is a high range of ages included that
are alike but not the same, suggesting there will be resemblance for some stuff
but not everything in general. However, the best way to tackle this will be
exploiting the high range and making it short-range what I mean by this is
simply choose the stuff with liability to be interpreted by a major amount of
people from the spectrum given (16-25)
7. Example Of Existing Products
These posters are modern examples of codes and conventions at
high level of marketing. The posters include flash editing and easy
understandable messages directed to a world wide audience such
as football regarding champions league competition and PSG as a
team presented by their Man Of The Match Neymar Jr and a Hip-
Hop Artist Travis Scott.
My way to communicate with my selective audience will be alike
the examples provided, executing quite impressive techniques
editing wise and flashy unique shots. I enjoy how the background
is a backdrop to presented the character and elements clearer but
also to make it look professional setting the correct tone from the
jump. The Travis Scott poster is impressive with style and also
attention to detail stuff alike smoke and flare creating a diverted
reality.
8. Pre Production: Drafts
This is a similar design to the one I'll be doing for this
project, I’m fairly confident it will turn out alike as I've
already used and done effects/designers similar to
this one.
There are more drafts I’m working on because I want
to already present my idea with imagery rather than
just explanations
