AUDIENCE RESEARCH
SUMMARY

KEY DEMOGRAPHIC
INFORMATIONThe romantic comedy genre is a collaboration of two
very popular genres, because of these we are able to
target a wide range of audiences. We are able to
target a male audience due to the comedy aspect of
the film, we are able to do this as comedy's attract a
larger male audience. Alongside this we are also able
to attract a large female audience as women are the
main audience of romantic films. I have also found
out through primary research that an audience is
more likely to watch a film if it includes actors and
actresses of a similar age. In our trailer we will be
including actors and actresses who are teenagers
meaning we are likely to be targeting teens.
THE PSYCHOGRAPHICS OF
MY AUDIENCEFrom the research that I have conducted I have found out
that my target audience enjoy watching films with actors
and actresses their age. We have also found out that they
enjoy listening to music and socialising with friends.
