Buying A Computer
When it comes to building a computer versus buying one, there are many things that can come into account. One must consider things such as price,
time, and knowledge. The cost of the entire computer if buying a computer, and the price of the individual parts if you are building. Time is taken into
account because building it can take much more time because of troubleshooting, and separate part shipping, where as buying one means it is made at
the company, and then shipped to you. Knowledge is taken into account because if the person knows next to nothing about computers they will have
considerable trouble building a computer, and buying one takes away that aspect of it. As it goes there are relatively few similarities between building

When making your own computer it is a better bang for your buck, easier to customize, and there is less of a worry about warranties. However it is
time consuming, takes a ton of research, you have to consult with a lot of people to resolve a problem with the parts, and fixing it is not as easy as
sending it in, you have to do it yourself. When buying a computer there is no worry about setup past plugging in attachments, it has been pre–tested so
there is no worrying whether it works or not, and there is no worry about a piece missing because they are already in the computer. However they will
cost more because there is added price for buying them because of logos and brand names, there are far fewer options for the software and the
hardware, and replacing parts or upgrading the computer may mean forfeiting the warranty on the computer. Finally when building the computer you
have to personally install software, but only what you want, and on a pre–made you have it preinstalled, but you might not use it so it takes up

The Callaway Golf might have pros and cons if they prefer either to use of a global marketing or multi–domestic marketing. The Callaway Golf can
have a big market in worldwide which may increase the amount of its revenue. Moreover, the products of Callaway can be known by people around
the world, especially who interested in golf. By using the global marketing approach to marketing for Callaway, the company may have no problem in
producing and distributing its products to other countries because of the same products inside and outside the United States. The only thing that the
company needs to focus on is the quality control of the products. However, the Callaway Golf might face a problem if its products unable to compete to

Economic factors are one of the environmental factors, involve economic variables, such as prices and wages, could have a major impact on the
marketing of golf clubs internationally. According to Marx, "The Japanese economy collapsed in the mid–1990s, and the salary man class lost its
monopoly on social prestige. Golf was a core tradition of corporate warriors, and it therefore also suffered a reputation loss from its over–association
with the dominant old–man contingent". This impact has hurt Callaway Golf and other golf equipment manufactures. Demographics factors also
brought a large impact on the marketing of golf clubs internationally. Younger golfers are working more hours to support themselves and the aging
Japanese population, leaving them fewer hours on the course to enjoy themselves. This may impact the downsizing of the golf players in the next few
years. In South Korea, the environmental factor that could have a major impact on the marketing of golf clubs internationally is social factors which
can affect the lifestyles as a society. According to Kerin, Hartley, and Rudelius, "Korean women account for the lion's share of the $600 million in golf
and apparel/footwear sales tallied at retail compared to hard goods sales of $275 million". This would also bring a great impact for most golf equipment
manufacturers, including Callaway, in pursuing the female lifestyles domestically and internationally.

Based on the research that Mr. Seldon completed, Best Buy concluded that their customer population was mainly made up of the "Jill" segment. This
segment of their demographic wants more assistance in the store; a more "personal shopper" feel. They are also interested in how the potentially
purchased item will affect their lives and were less interested in the technology. Best Buy also went from a predominately male staff to a more gender
diverse staff. Since this "Jill" segment influences 89 percent of all purchases, it behooved Best Buy to accommodate their core clientele.
Accordingly, Best Buy implemented common sense solutions once they understood the issues that needed to be addressed. Many related products were
bundled together; in many stores, kids had designated play areas while their moms shopped. To help with installation on store or internet purchased
items, Best Buy enlisted the help of Geek Squad so customers need not concern themselves with the equipment set–up. This adaption to the company's
customers has allowed Best Buy to be one on the most successful companies in the United States. Forbes magazine named Best Buy "Company of the

Customary Law
1. INTRODUCTION Customary law is among other laws the most controversial and as a result raises a lot of questions among legal luminaries.
There are whole lots of reasons responsible for these and this research shall take time to address as many of these causes or reasons as possible. To

This means that customary law which is not compatible with any existing enactment ought not to be enforced by the courts. The argument is that
existing customary laws must not be incompatible with any written law (Obilade 1991). (c) Public Policy Test: This means that a custom shall not

China would be the best option for Best Buy's foreign market entry, because China has the largest population in the world, which means the demand in
China may be higher than in other countries. Since the economy grows fast over years, more people went to the middle–class so they have a higher
purchasing power to buy new stuff than they did before. The Chinese middle class grew up to double digits; this is promising for Best Buy to enter a
market where there is a larger abundance of consumers. This would be a great way for Best Buy to increase their sales in a global market. Best Buy

This can be further validated, by seeing "Over the past 10 years alone, incomes have quadrupled. In 2000, the average income was just $760 per
person" (Censky, "China's Middle Class Boom"). It is seen "the average disposable income of urban Chinese households rise to around $3,000 per

incomes of middle class citizens would benefit Best Buy in increased sales. China's GDP in 2013 stood at $9.4 trillion that had a 7.7% increase from
the previous year. When there is a positive increase to the GDP this shows economic prosperity. Compared to England and Canada, China has a
significant higher GDP, which is steadily increasing. Businesses benefit from a positive increasing economic market where consumers are willing to

Value Of Tradition And Culture
Value of Tradition and Culture The life cycle of the people represents important values of tradition that exist in their culture. No matter the race or
where the person is from, it seems to live within a specific tradition, customs, and morals. Values exist in all cultures, and are passed down from
generation to generation. One's tradition and culture are very beneficial because it offers many positive effects and by helping construct the persons'
sense of self–identity. As well as, holding a community/family together that supports one another through difficult problems and moments of
happiness. However, traditions might also cause negative effects because harmful traditions still exist. It exists in many different forms that can create
damage in the persons' life by holding them back from success. Most likely, imposing them to limitations. A positive value that tradition provides is a
sense of creating self–identity. Tradition plays many significant roles in life by reflecting the personality or view of the person. It also provides a
close inspection of their culture. For example, the author in "The Way to Rainy Mountain" N. Scott Momaday, seems to describe his life as a man
who left his family's homeland to make his own, but always had a strong relationship with his grandmother. Momaday describes the sense of
self–identity by connecting his essay about his family history. He reveals his emotions into his grandmother's death when he stated, "Although my

Online Shopping Vs Traditional Shopping Online shopping is the process whereby consumers directly buy goods or services from a seller in
real–time, without an intermediary service, over the Internet. According to Internet Retailer U.S., retail e–commerce spending increased to an
estimated $66.9 billion in the first half of 2010, up 9.3% from $61.2 billion for the same period as year ago. Online shopping has become popular among

Shopping over the internet gives consumers the freedom to shop when they want, verses traditional shopping where you have to shop during store
hours. The most important reason online shopping is more convenient than traditional shopping is because it's less time consuming. When shopping
electronically on the internet lines are not a problem, because there is immediate check–out. With traditional shopping checkout lines are extremely
long, especially during the holidays. Shopping during the holidays takes up a lot of the consumer's time. Parking spaces are another annoying factor
that online shoppers don't have to worry about. It is done from the comfort of the purchaser's choosing, or wherever there is an internet connection.
Getting to and from the store is another major headache in–store shoppers worry about. In today's economy, gas prices are fluctuating each day. It takes
gas to fuel vehicles to and from the stores, which can get expensive when visiting more than one store. Online shopping saves shopper's the hassle of
having to fuel their vehicles. There are some drawbacks to shopping online. For instance waiting for the item to be shipped is stressful at times.
Traditional in–store shoppers are given the chance to physically examine, and even try the product out. This advantage is helpful with the purchase
decision. If the choice is made to purchase, products can be taken home immediately. Traditional shopping makes refunds

The rhetorical factors in the article "Buying Experiences, Not Things" written by James Hamblin are clear and easy to decipher. The article discusses
the psychological factors in a human of being happy. Psychologists and scientists are constantly doing research and studies trying to determine how
the brain works, and how people's minds function every day of their lives. Whether its sleep, knowledge, substance abuse or functions of each part of
the brain, every little piece of information gathered helps complete the bigger picture. Emotions are a popular study in psychology. Psychologists are
trying to find a way to measure the emotions of people that occur on a daily basis. Research is also being done in search of a form of measurement to
measure people's happiness. Happiness is considered to be an important factor in life.
Psychologist James Hamblin believes that happiness comes from experiences that occur in life rather than the materials life has to offer. In other
words, a person will be happier in the long run going on vacation rather than buying a new phone. Hamblin's article creates an argument in hopes of
encouraging people to enjoy the moments in life and not the big or little things. Hamblin argues that 'if you pay for an experience, like a vacation,
it will be over and gone; but if you buy a tangible thing, a couch, at least you 'll have it for a long time" (Hamblin 2014). A person may be able to buy
something and have it in possession for a long period of time,

The Pros And Cons Of Customs Union
The reason I chose Customs Union as my topic is to learn more about how members or potential members of a union establish an agreement that
benefit all parties. I find it interesting that members of a union are able to influence one another's economic growth, competition and how they can
complement one another as well. Having a common trade policy among a group of members and removing all barriers of trade can play a
significant role in the success of a business. It saves a lot money, and could be a competitive advantage over competitors. Countries of a union joining
can also impact its position in a global market, as well as help the country economically. The ability for a group of countries to come together and help
each other is fascinating, and is why I chose to explore this topic more.
EXPLANATION OF KEY TERM
The third stage of Economic Integration is Customs Union. According to the Encyclopaedia of Britannica, Customs Union is a "trade agreement by
which a group of countries charges a common set of tariffs to the rest of the world while granting free trade among themselves" (Encyclopedia
Britannica, 2010). Customs Union is free–trade zone with common external tariffs; which helps increase economic efficiency and allows for
signatories to establish political and cultural ties. Tariff barriers make it difficult for some countries to sell products in a foreign country because of
the additional taxes on imported goods, which is a price advantage to members of a

Essay On Buying A Computer

of DDR4 RAM, a solid–state drive(SSD) and hard disk drive(HDD) combo for minimal boot up times and an 4–8gb graphics card. A few other

Companies are misguided nowadays by the notion that customers depend on them, when the truth of the matter is that companies are dependent on
those customers. Customer satisfaction and customer loyalty is now essential for a business or company to survive. So what is the difference between
customer satisfaction and customer loyalty and how to companies and or business achieve this? Also when you have difficult customers how do you

Customer loyalty is much harder to obtain that customer service satisfaction. The most important first step is to satisfy the customer by meeting their
expectations. Customers only give a company one chance and if they aren't satisfied they will not do business with that company again, as well as tell
others of their experience. The next step would be to exceed the customer's expectations. If a business goes above and beyond to assist the customer
they begin to build loyalty. The next step is to truly surprise the customer. In order to dominate the marketplace the company must find a way to make
them selves stand out with their product or service, accompanied with phenomenal customer service. Once this has been done customer satisfaction
and loyalty will be gained. "Acquiring a new customer can cost four or five times more than keeping a current customer" (Bestmark, 2013). So it's
essential to keep the current customer's happy and coming back for more.
Some of the ways that businesses can build loyalty would be by offering loyalty programs, Interacting with customers, surveys, creating institutional
ties, and personalized marketing. Another way to build loyalty is to treat your employees so well that they treat your customers well. If you have
happy employees they will treat your customers happy. "The link between satisfaction and loyalty however is not proportional" (Kotler, Keller, 2009,
p71), so businesses must

Benefits Of Buying For Buying Goods
When going to the store and buying items such as food, toiletries, and other house hold items bargain hunters will attempt to save as much money as
possible. Many of these items are essential to the modern way of life and because of this a substantial amount of money is spent on purchasing these

that wish to purchase name brands are retail only buyers. Same buyers may choose to purchase products at the normal retail price because they do not

Why You should Buy American Made Essays

wanted to hear....good and cheap! When did we stop caring about where a product is made or did we ever? Why would this matter anyway and what
importance is of it? Some may argue that free trade and imports give us purchasing power. They believe cheaper goods results in more money in our

I can just see the shoppers now just walking by checking the price and throwing a package in their cart. One of the main reasons to buy American

of how healthy our economy is and a forecast for the future. It's like the doctor taking a persons pulse. A good strong pulse indicates you appear to be
healthy, but a weak pulse indicates you may have problems. It would be hard to pay for even the basic necessities without a job. When you buy
American made products you are supporting your friends, family and neighbors. Those folks are the ones getting paid to manufacture products that you

market is no concern to you then maybe the environment is. Many foreign countries have little to no regulations on their manufacturing facilities to

Buying A Computer

  • 1. Buying A Computer When it comes to building a computer versus buying one, there are many things that can come into account. One must consider things such as price, time, and knowledge. The cost of the entire computer if buying a computer, and the price of the individual parts if you are building. Time is taken into account because building it can take much more time because of troubleshooting, and separate part shipping, where as buying one means it is made at the company, and then shipped to you. Knowledge is taken into account because if the person knows next to nothing about computers they will have considerable trouble building a computer, and buying one takes away that aspect of it. As it goes there are relatively few similarities between building ...show more content... When making your own computer it is a better bang for your buck, easier to customize, and there is less of a worry about warranties. However it is time consuming, takes a ton of research, you have to consult with a lot of people to resolve a problem with the parts, and fixing it is not as easy as sending it in, you have to do it yourself. When buying a computer there is no worry about setup past plugging in attachments, it has been pre–tested so there is no worrying whether it works or not, and there is no worry about a piece missing because they are already in the computer. However they will cost more because there is added price for buying them because of logos and brand names, there are far fewer options for the software and the hardware, and replacing parts or upgrading the computer may mean forfeiting the warranty on the computer. Finally when building the computer you have to personally install software, but only what you want, and on a pre–made you have it preinstalled, but you might not use it so it takes up Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Global Market Essay example Global Market The Callaway Golf might have pros and cons if they prefer either to use of a global marketing or multi–domestic marketing. The Callaway Golf can have a big market in worldwide which may increase the amount of its revenue. Moreover, the products of Callaway can be known by people around the world, especially who interested in golf. By using the global marketing approach to marketing for Callaway, the company may have no problem in producing and distributing its products to other countries because of the same products inside and outside the United States. The only thing that the company needs to focus on is the quality control of the products. However, the Callaway Golf might face a problem if its products unable to compete to ...show more content... Economic factors are one of the environmental factors, involve economic variables, such as prices and wages, could have a major impact on the marketing of golf clubs internationally. According to Marx, "The Japanese economy collapsed in the mid–1990s, and the salary man class lost its monopoly on social prestige. Golf was a core tradition of corporate warriors, and it therefore also suffered a reputation loss from its over–association with the dominant old–man contingent". This impact has hurt Callaway Golf and other golf equipment manufactures. Demographics factors also brought a large impact on the marketing of golf clubs internationally. Younger golfers are working more hours to support themselves and the aging Japanese population, leaving them fewer hours on the course to enjoy themselves. This may impact the downsizing of the golf players in the next few years. In South Korea, the environmental factor that could have a major impact on the marketing of golf clubs internationally is social factors which can affect the lifestyles as a society. According to Kerin, Hartley, and Rudelius, "Korean women account for the lion's share of the $600 million in golf and apparel/footwear sales tallied at retail compared to hard goods sales of $275 million". This would also bring a great impact for most golf equipment manufacturers, including Callaway, in pursuing the female lifestyles domestically and internationally. Small business: The customer who runs his or her own business and has specific needs relating to growing sales and increasing the profitability of the business11 (Marketing, 10th Edition pg. 136). Results Based on the research that Mr. Seldon completed, Best Buy concluded that their customer population was mainly made up of the "Jill" segment. This segment of their demographic wants more assistance in the store; a more "personal shopper" feel. They are also interested in how the potentially purchased item will affect their lives and were less interested in the technology. Best Buy also went from a predominately male staff to a more gender diverse staff. Since this "Jill" segment influences 89 percent of all purchases, it behooved Best Buy to accommodate their core clientele. Accordingly, Best Buy implemented common sense solutions once they understood the issues that needed to be addressed. Many related products were bundled together; in many stores, kids had designated play areas while their moms shopped. To help with installation on store or internet purchased items, Best Buy enlisted the help of Geek Squad so customers need not concern themselves with the equipment set–up. This adaption to the company's customers has allowed Best Buy to be one on the most successful companies in the United States. Forbes magazine named Best Buy "Company of the Year" in

There are whole lots of reasons responsible for these and this research shall take time to address as many of these causes or reasons as possible. To add salt to injury, the few authorities of customary law that still hold sway customary sources (in explaining the inconsistencies of the law of custom) agrees that "all laws are custom but not all custom is the law" This job has been made easier thanks to Dr. B. The argument is that existing customary laws must not be incompatible with any written law (Obilade 1991). Shopping over the internet gives consumers the freedom to shop when they want, verses traditional shopping where you have to shop during store hours. The most important reason online shopping is more convenient than traditional shopping is because it's less time consuming. When shopping electronically on the internet lines are not a problem, because there is immediate check–out. With traditional shopping checkout lines are extremely long, especially during the holidays. Shopping during the holidays takes up a lot of the consumer's time. Parking spaces are another annoying factor that online shoppers don't have to worry about. It is done from the comfort of the purchaser's choosing, or wherever there is an internet connection. Getting to and from the store is another major headache in–store shoppers worry about. In today's economy, gas prices are fluctuating each day. It takes gas to fuel vehicles to and from the stores, which can get expensive when visiting more than one store. Online shopping saves shopper's the hassle of having to fuel their vehicles. There are some drawbacks to shopping online. For instance waiting for the item to be shipped is stressful at times. Traditional in–store shoppers are given the chance to physically examine, and even try the product out. This advantage is helpful with the purchase decision. If the choice is made to purchase, products can be taken home immediately. Traditional shopping makes refunds Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Whether its sleep, knowledge, substance abuse or functions of each part of the brain, every little piece of information gathered helps complete the bigger picture. Emotions are a popular study in psychology. Psychologists are trying to find a way to measure the emotions of people that occur on a daily basis. Research is also being done in search of a form of measurement to measure people's happiness. Happiness is considered to be an important factor in life. Psychologist James Hamblin believes that happiness comes from experiences that occur in life rather than the materials life has to offer. In other words, a person will be happier in the long run going on vacation rather than buying a new phone. Hamblin's article creates an argument in hopes of encouraging people to enjoy the moments in life and not the big or little things. Hamblin argues that 'if you pay for an experience, like a vacation, it will be over and gone; but if you buy a tangible thing, a couch, at least you 'll have it for a long time" (Hamblin 2014). A person may be able to buy something and have it in possession for a long period of time, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. The Pros And Cons Of Customs Union The reason I chose Customs Union as my topic is to learn more about how members or potential members of a union establish an agreement that benefit all parties. I find it interesting that members of a union are able to influence one another's economic growth, competition and how they can complement one another as well. Having a common trade policy among a group of members and removing all barriers of trade can play a significant role in the success of a business. It saves a lot money, and could be a competitive advantage over competitors. Countries of a union joining can also impact its position in a global market, as well as help the country economically. The ability for a group of countries to come together and help each other is fascinating, and is why I chose to explore this topic more. So what is the difference between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty and how to companies and or business achieve this? Also when you have difficult customers how do you achieve customer satisfaction? It's essential that companies or businesses today listen to their customers. The most important first step is to satisfy the customer by meeting their expectations. Customers only give a company one chance and if they aren't satisfied they will not do business with that company again, as well as tell others of their experience. The next step would be to exceed the customer's expectations. If a business goes above and beyond to assist the customer they begin to build loyalty. The next step is to truly surprise the customer. In order to dominate the marketplace the company must find a way to make them selves stand out with their product or service, accompanied with phenomenal customer service. Once this has been done customer satisfaction and loyalty will be gained. "Acquiring a new customer can cost four or five times more than keeping a current customer" (Bestmark, 2013). Case Study : Best Buy 's Strategy To understand Best Buy's strategy, a SWOT analysis was prepared to study the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that the company must prepare for. According to Hubert Joly, the CEO of Best Buy, the strength of the company comes down to the people who work there. Interviewed in late 2013 for the consumer electronics trade magazine TWICE, Joly states from the outset that he was "amazed by (Best Buy's) assets, strong traffic levels, great stores... a large and loyal customer base, and an unmatched product assortment. I was delighted by the spirit, passion, and strong foundation of this great company and its 140,000 employees. Their commitment to this organization, and more importantly, to serving our customers, is incredible." ("Joly Waxes") Another strength that has helped Best Buy prosper the past three years is its online store. • 20. Why You should Buy American Made Essays Have you ever thought about those little words in fine print that tell you where a product was made? How about the last time you put tires on your car? Before you made a decision on the purchase did you stop and ask where the tires are made? Probably not! You heard the only words you wanted to hear....good and cheap! When did we stop caring about where a product is made or did we ever? Why would this matter anyway and what importance is of it? Some may argue that free trade and imports give us purchasing power. It would be hard to pay for even the basic necessities without a job. When you buy American made products you are supporting your friends, family and neighbors. Those folks are the ones getting paid to manufacture products that you find on the shelf at your local stores. If they don't sell those products then there is no need to manufacture them. We can no survive with just a service economy. Meaning someone to fix your furnace or change the oil in your car. We need manufacturing jobs to have a healthy economy. If the labor market is no concern to you then maybe the environment is. Many foreign countries have little to no regulations on their manufacturing facilities to protect the environment. The drawback of this makes it difficult for American companies to compete. Paying fines or accumulating additional costs to meet energy standards is not cost effective.
