undergrad students each visited a local business, analyzed it thoroughly, and presented a plan to double the business’s
revenue in one year. The materials presented included an Excel file with multiple scenario analysis and a PowerPoint
presentation lasting twenty minutes. The business’s executives and a panel of CEO judges then determined who
presented the best, most actionable plan. Brian’s team won the competition and a $2,500 prize.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Management Internship – Dillard’s Inc. June 2016 – August 2016
This internship involved assisting in the management of several hundred employees inside a $100,000,000 annual
revenue Dillard’s location. Attending management meetings, paperwork processing, issuing corrective review forms
to floor employee’s, managing merchandise organization, and a variety of other management specific tasks were
performed for eight hours a day five days a week.
Internship – Rave Commercial May 2016 – June 2016
This internship involved providing support to a three-person commercial real estate operation. Primary tasks included
writing emails and making phone calls selling real estate lots valued at $800,000 - $1,500,000 to businesses looking
to set up operations in Central Florida. The team was small and in need of many supporting functions, as such
secondary tasks included writing email templates, phone call scripts, organizing a contact information database, and
designing marketing materials.
Servers Assistant – Stonewood Grill and Tavern August 2014 – December 2015
This job involved establishing working relationships with other employees and managers while providing a welcoming
atmosphere for guests. Working with a team of three to four, server assistants maintained fifty tables and a fully stocked
bar while executing server and guest requests for up to ten hours at a time.
