While employed with Linens “N” Things, I was part of a team that observed and studied the routine work habits of employees.
Our goal was to determine where changes could be made to streamline operations using diagnostic variations. We compiled and
analyzed the data which showed the need for operational improvements. The number of team members went down 33-43%. The
elapsed time for flow from receiving to the sales floor was reduced by 25-50%. The range was based on aspects such as sales
volume and seasonal time of year. This resulted in a more efficient process in the workplace.
