OPAL helps community-led housing groups envision, plan, build, and live in sustainable and affordable homes. It provides tools and workshops to support groups through each phase of development from establishing a vision using the One Planet Living framework, planning sites and navigating approval processes, building the homes, and developing governance systems for residents to live as a community. Groups can receive tailored support depending on their phase of development and needs.

achieve their dream of building homes which are environmentally sustainable and
truly affordable.
The One Planet Affordable Living (OPAL) approach gives your group the knowledge,
ability and power to navigate through the four phases of a housing development

2. Our support is structured around a series of tools and
workshops for your community-led housing group. We can
also offer more in-depth tailored support depending on the
development phase you are in, and the specialist support
you might need.
