Brainstorm and prepare
Read the instructions and look at the pictures on p. 122.
Brainstorm ways you communicate during the day.
Work together in small groups and think of as many different communication methods as
possible; write them in a list.
Copy the information into a table like the one in the Student’s Book.
Choose a day to do your research, preferably at the weekend.
Collect results
Work in your group again.
Present your individual results and discuss any major differences between your results.
Decide on the way to present your group’s results to the class (a pie chart, a graph, the most
interesting part of the research, …).
Share and discuss
Present your results to the class.
Discuss any interesting findings further.
What do the results mean?
What could be wrong with the research?
Does anything surprise you?
Will you change the way you communicate?
Vote on the report you found the most interesting.
