Brainstorm and prepare
 Read the instructions and look at the pictures on p. 122.
 Brainstorm ways you communicate during the day.
 Work together in small groups and think of as many different communication methods as
possible; write them in a list.
 Copy the information into a table like the one in the Student’s Book.
 Choose a day to do your research, preferably at the weekend.
Collect results
 Work in your group again.
 Present your individual results and discuss any major differences between your results.
 Decide on the way to present your group’s results to the class (a pie chart, a graph, the most
interesting part of the research, …).
Share and discuss
 Present your results to the class.
 Discuss any interesting findings further.
 What do the results mean?
 What could be wrong with the research?
 Does anything surprise you?
 Will you change the way you communicate?
 Vote on the report you found the most interesting.
