• Heat engine
• Converts heat energy to mechanical energy.
• Theoretical efficiency is nearly equal to their
maximum efficiency

of that gas, the pressure will also increased
• If we have a fixed amount of gas and we
compress it (decrease the volume of its space)
the temperatures of the gas will be increased
