2. Initial Reaction
• I want to make a magazine on guitars because I
think that they’re something that I know a bit
about and I would enjoy researching about them
and I have some that I would be able to take
pictures.
• I would also like to do a tech magazine because I
it’s something I’m interested in and know about
so it would be easy for me to research and
understand and I have a lot of things that I could
take pictures of for the magazine.
3. Mind Map
Guitars
I would have a range to
Take pictures of
I know a lot about themI know a lot about artists that play guitar
I know be able to have
Different pages for
Different guitars or artists
There would be a lot of
Things to write about.
4. Mind Map
Technology
I know a lot on how it works
There is a huge range
Of things to write about
Could make guides
On how to do things
There could be reviews
On bits of tech
There could be stuff
About people in the tech
Industry such as Elon Musk
5. Mood Board
The colour scheme will depend on the colour of guitar or artist on the front
The font will be round but not too comic like
The magazine will be called
Riff Renegade
Usually have the text contrast with the background
6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
-The images are always of the guitar in a space on not just on a white
background
-Some of them have people playing the guitar on them.
-They are all either on a stage, in a house, or on a textured background and
either make the guitar pop out or the theme more obvious.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
-It will help me to know what type of photos I should get for the front page
and in the article. It will also help me to know what fonts and colour schemes
I should use and that I should have the text to be readable even if I am using
unusual colours to match the photos.
