❖K-Swiss was founded in 1966.
❖Two Swiss brothers, Art and Ernie
Brunner, moved to California to create
a footwear brand focused on tennis.

3. History
❖Founded by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912.
❖It was organized after Low met
Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of
Scouting, in 1911.
❖Juliette cultivated an organization that
would prepare girls to meet their world
with courage, confidence, and character.
❖Low gathered 18 girls in her hometown of
Savannah, Georgia, to share the knowledge
she gained abroad about a new outdoor and
educational program for youth, and with
this, the Girl Scout Movement was born.
❖ Today the organization includes 2.5
million Girl Scouts (1.7 million girls and
750,000 adults) in 92 countries and more
than 50 million alums.
5. In 1951, Girl Scout Cookies came in three varieties: Sandwich, Shortbread,
and Chocolate Mints (now known as Thin Mints)
6. Girl Scout Cookie Rebrand
A new cookie box design was introduced in fall of 2000. The box
design was bold and bright, capturing the spirit of Girl Scouting.
7. Today it is the largest nonprofit leadership organization for
girls in the world, and currently counts more than 50
million American women as living alum. Ranked in the top
10 World Brand Index for the past 5 years.

❖ K-Swiss is celebrating Girl Scout cookie season with three of the most popular cookies they
offer, Thin Mints, Coconut Caramel, and Shortbread. They embraced the essence of the cookies
through the different color ways in their new Court 66 style.
❖The company believes that these young leaders are at the forefront of today's culture, influencing
and inspiring young people around the world.
9. The Girl Scout x K-Swiss Court 66 is a special edition limited shoe that was released on
March 4. It retails for $70 in kids sizes and $75 for women. The collection
is available on KSwiss.com, girlscoutshop.com, and Footlocker.com.
