2. Who will it be distributed to?
● For this task to be as effective as possible, I will distribute my
questionnaire to my target audience age range which are females aged
11-15.
● To do this, I decided to hand out 20 copies in my school playground when
the year 7’s and year 8’s would be on their lunch break. This way I can
easily offer them a chance to take part in my questionnaire.
● Furthermore, I also got some of my friends little sisters to fill in my
questionnaire if they were fans of the pop genre. This gave variety to the
representatives as they would not all be from the same school.
● I decided to hand print out 20 copies of my questionnaires as the number
20 is an even and easy number to asses the results, once I had got them
back from my representatives.
3. What I Wanted From My Questionnaire.
● I wanted to make sure that my questionnaire was understandable and
easy for my target audience to read. This was important in the making of
my questionnaire as my target audience are young teens, I wanted the
questions to be easy and fun. Therefore, I chose to use simple multiple
choice questions where the participants were asked to circle their chosen
answer. This is quick and fun way to get involved with my research.
● From this task, I wanted to have a wider understanding as to what my
target audience look for in a pop magazine, the type of artists they like to
see feature and the type of content they are interested in reading about.
● Overall, my questionnaire would give me enough knowledge of how I can
make my own pop magazine the best it can be and effective for my target
audience.
