1. Client proposal
In order to create an advertising proposal, I need to gather information
about the company that makes the product, where it wants to
advertise, what it wants the advertising to achieve and how much it
has to spend.
The advertising budget for my campaign to advertise my product and
brand is £100,000.
What do you want your adverts to achieve?
I would like the advert to introduce my product to its target audience.
This will boost the sales of my product, making a profit and also paying
for its own advertisement. My product will be perceived as a new,
fresh, edgy and inspiring product which will capture the audiences and
direct them to the checkout with my product!
What type of advertising will suit your campaign?
The advertising that will suit and sell my product will be television, print
and online adverts. People will be glued to their televisions, gazing at
their magazines, and astonished at their internet screens.
Describe the type of print advert you have in mind:
The brand will be imprinted into the advert somehow but not be
obviously written. Connotations of the image will be only positive and
exciting. The only thought running through the head of the viewer will
be ‘how do I buy this product?’ The advert will have sly, glancing
colour but will not be over powering. The advert is going to stylish to
imply the cool, newness of the urban edge perfume.
What is the target market?
The audience will be young adults/teenagers that have ambitions to
party, rock and live life only caring about what matters. The thought
that will come to mind when thinking about the target audience is Rita
Ora, Rihanna and Azealia Banks.
