Hello, my name is Annie and I am representing Nina Ricci. I am looking for £ in return
for 10% equity. Nina Ricci is a French fashion house founded by Italian-born Maria "Nina" Ricci and
her son Robert in 1932. Nina Riccis first perfume product came out in 1946. Although this
company produces both women’s and men’s fragrances, I am hoping to advertise a
seasonal perfume for women. With the help and guidance from Vibe productions I
believe that we will be able to market this product to its great potential by making sure
the product is suitable for the target audience which is aimed at 16 – 28 year olds.
Slide 2
I would now like you all to take the blind folds from under your chair and listen closely
to what I’m about to play. I will hand out a piece of material with the Nina Ricci scent on
and in which I would like you to close your eyes and imagine what this TV promotional
advertisement would look like. Think about the colours, text being used, type of music,
scenery, and camera shot types, editing techniques etc.
Slide 3
Now take off your blind folds and see if the vision in your head matches the images I
have gathered on the presentation board. When I look at these images I think of fun,
love, summer, freedom and individuality. All these words are connotations of what to
expect in my production.
Slide 4
So the idea is to produce a season fragrance that attracts a wide range of 16 – 28 year
olds. I plan to do this through several summery scenes for example; under water scene,
beach scene, a woods scene, and more. I want my actor to represent freedom and
power.
Even though the advert will be brought out before summer it still raises awareness to
the audience that it is on its way and that they should / need this product.
I have researched into my competitors and have noticed it is essential to have a summer
advert.
Slide 5
In this slide we look into last year’s Nina Ricci’s advertisement. I researched into the
sales figures and the Christmas was most successful by three times the sales of the
summer one. I believe this is because the winter advertisement is a perfect ‘gift’ as a
Christmas present whereas people wouldn’t usually buy the summer one unless they
wanted to. A Christmas advertisement is more than likely to sell a product better as
some people ‘panic buys’ and look for ideas when watching TV. This is a perfect
opportunity for the company to higher their product prices as people at Christmas time
2. will spend3 the money without thinking twice about it. My goal is to make my summer
advert successful enough so that people will want this product without it being
advertised numerous times throughout the day on every channel. It should be a
necessity that makes each individual feel good about them.

Here are a few logos I have gathered that I see as my top competitors. Each one of these
companies is enormously successful within the industry. Each one of my competitors
