2. Adverts which uses celebrities to promote and sell a product is used to show
the audience that if celebrity has it then they would want it too.
This Drake advert was released in 2010 after Drake had a landed a new
endorsement deal will the company sprite. The product which he is selling in
the advert is the fizzy drink called sprite.
The content of the advert is animated as during the advert Drake seems to
come apart which is animated. The style of the advert is celebrity
endorsement to promote the product.
Drake has been chosen to participate in this advert as the drink targets the
teen and young adult audience which is who is Drake main fan base. Due to
having similar target audience they have used Drake to promote sprite which
will get his fans base buying the product. The adverts hidden message is
portraying to the audience that if you ever get stuck with something or need
help by drinking sprite it will help achieve your goals. The message may be
different if another celebrity had done the advert as the message would not
be clear as Drake is a rapper, it would be slightly altered. The status of the
celebrity as Drake is very famous in the music industry and is listen to by
many people, which will expand the sales.

3. The advert which has used celebrity endorsement to promote a product is Nike
which have used a range of football players such as Neymar, Ronaldo, Rooney etc.
The advert was published in 2014 after football players such as Ronaldo, Neymar got
deals to be their endorsement. The form of this advert is animation as they have
animated the ordinary males playing in a massive stadium in front of thousands of
fans. The style of this advert is surrealism as the advert has used effects to make the
males turn into the players of their choice. As they are very famous within the
football industry the players which were used in the advert such as Ronaldo,
Neymar and Rooney have been chosen as they appeal to the target audience of the
product which are typically teens who has a passion for football and inspires to be
like the players seen in the advert. The overall message for the advert is that if you
buy boots from Nike you can be like your favourite player and be very skilful. It
shows the audience how the celebrity fits in with the message as they are showing
what the boots can do. The message may be different if an actor or a singer
promoted this product as it won’t sell the product as they have no relevance. Seeing
as all the players involved in this advert very huge in the football industry the status
does influence the audience to buy the boots.

4. Bradley Cooper stars alongside Jana Perez to promote the ice-
cream Haagan Dazs. The advert was published in 2013. The advert
is about a ball or an evening where everyone is dressed and Bradley
Cooper appears with the ice cream and is staring at the Jana. She
then takes Bradley to a room and implies that she is seducing her.
As it looks like Jana is about to kiss Bradley she takes the ice –
cream and looks him in the room. The form of the advert is a stand
alone off as there is only this type of advert for the product. The
style of the advert is humour as the audience tend to find it funny
how the girl ticks him and locks him in the room. Bradley Cooper is
the main character in the advert and has been chosen to do the
advert as ice cream is typically eaten when watching a film. Bradley
is ideal as his an actor who is frequently staring in films. The overall
message of the film is that woman is seducing the man and then
took the ice cream. The message was not very clear as the advert
was just promoting the product. Personally I don’t believe that the
message would have been any different if Bradley was replace as
the advert was mainly focused on promoting the ice cream. Many
people who are fans of Bradley Cooper will be influenced to but the
ice cream which will affect the sales of the product. Shannon Fitzgerald
5. Kate Moss is a well known supermodel, but has throughout the years
promoted adverts for Rimmel London which is cosmetics. This advert was
published 2011 and is a series adverts as there is more than one type of
Kate Moss promoting the Rimmel products. The advert is about Kate
promoting her own brand of products. The style of the advert is where
they are promoting the product, as there is not a clear message. The
celebrity has been chosen to participate in the advert as Kate is a model
she tends to wear make up for a living. This celebrity appeals to the target
audience as she is a model, many females would go and buy the product
as they are inspired by Kate, they want to look like her. The overall
message is Kate promoting her own brand of products which is still
associated with Rimmel. The message is not very clear but to by her make
up if you want to look like her. The message would be different if some
other celebrity promoted this product as an actor or a footballer
promoting this product wont appeal to the audience as much as a model
like Kate who promotes it. The status of the celebrity does affect the sales
as it influences the target audience to buy the product as they inspired to
look like Kate, they will buy the products. Shannon Fitzgerald
