configurations.
Worked on multiple Android applications and feature enhancement prototypes.
Android Framework
Played a pivotal role in the design and development of Samsung’s Android Telephony framework
for LTE and CDMA.
Developed the APN based Wireless Data Service for LTE and CDMA data connection.
Contributed to the development of Route management services of the data path for different APNs
in Connectivity Service/Framework.
Implemented a new design to customize “Activation & Setup Wizard” for Next Generation Galaxy
Phones (Improved Google’s design).
Resolved critical real-time issues in the deployment of Android Lollypop, Kitkat and other versions.
Radio Interface Layer (RIL)
Contributed to the design and development of Evolution RIL (Used in all flagship 4g phones).
This software can communicate with both Samsung and Qualcomm modems with IPC mechanism.
Played a significant role in the development of customized version of Qualcomm RIL (QCRIL).
Worked closely with Verizon and T-Mobile to implement their requirement for LTE and CDMA data
and Voice services.

2. TCP/IP Optimizations (Throughput Performance)
Cubic – BLU (Best Link Utilization) is a derivative of TCP Cubic with an improved window growth
function. It dynamically estimates and utilizes the otherwise wasted bandwidth.
Dynamic TCP is a method to optimize the throughput of a device, by dynamically selecting and
switching to the best TCP congestion control algorithm.
Multipath (MP-TCP) VoPS is a concept to route the Voice data over multiple RATs (4g/3g/Wifi) to
provide a best quality voice service even in low throughput area using multipath TCP.
