EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
Steuart Systems Jan 2015-Jul 2016
I developed on a Ubuntu Linux OS using C/C++ and OpenCL using an AMD GPU and NVIDIA Cuda
to do parallel processing for image processing to create a streoscopic 3D graphics system and a camera
scanner. The System using multiple cameras is able to create a 3D image of a room. The image processing
involved various unique smoothing algorithms, an unsharp mask and a de-mosaic algorithm. The camera
scanner was developed on a NVIDIA Jetson TK1 using a V4L2 interface to the camera.
Neustar Inc Nov 2011-Nov 2014
I worked on three systems, the Number Portabilty Administration Center (NPAC), PortPS (Power Search)
Numbering Portal and Pooling Administration System (PAS) as a Senior QA engineer programming in
Java and using Linux servers with various scripting languages like Perl and Ksh.
Using Agile Development Methodology for the last 18 months, using Jira and Confluence.
Steuart Systems May 2010-Nov 2011
I developed in C++ and NVIDIA's CUDA parallel processing model to create a streoscopic 3D graphics
system. The System using multiple cameras was able to create a 3D image of a room.
CSC May 2007 - May 2010
I wrote features in C for an IMS (IP Multimedia subsystem) that we set up as a testbed. The testbed would
be used to try out different vendors equipment for evaluation purposes. I also attended the IETF
conferences once a quarter to follow the developing trends of the industry.
Televate Dec 2006- May 2007

Cisco Systems, Inc., Herndon, VA 1998 to 2006
Software Development Manager (2001 to 2006)
Manager of a team of 12-14 engineers
Successfully demonstrated SIP Proxy-CSCF Blade running with the GGSN on the 7500 Chassis,
utilizing Voice and Video calls from Mobile and fixed endpoints.
Implemented and tested product ahead of time by partnering with different Business units.
Worked with architects, development teams, technical marketing to develop WiFi/GSM mobile
handset Roaming and Seamless Handoff.
Team worked closely on the requirements with a SIP Client vendor whose software ran on a HP IPAQ
Mobile Phone. The whole architecture supported roaming and seamless handoff between a Wi-Fi
Access Point and a GSM network.
Integrated and tested the whole configuration
Developed many processes and features running on the BTS10200 Class 5 Softswitch including
SIGTRAN, SS7 ISUP Variants, AIN & POTS Feature Server features eg, 800, LNP, CNAM. This Product
is targeted at the major cable companies for VoIP.
Developed and tested many features include On-net routing, Overload Control, Cable Security, CLI,
Status and control, shared memory database & the BTS upgrade process. Recently we have been
working on Multi Line Hunt Group for SIP endpoints using the SIP Dialog Package.
Developed many SS7 ISUP Variants and INAP, AIN services on the PSTN Gateway (PGW2200). Inter-
working with IP based protocols SIP, H.323, MGCP, E-ISUP, GTD. Over 1000 systems sold. This
system was transitioned to Shanghai China recently.
Technical Lead Engineering (1998 – 2001)
Responsible for developing a class 4 Softswitch, developing call control working on the PGW (PSTN
Gateway), SC (Signaling Controller) known as the PGW2200, interworking signaling protocols ie SS7
ISUP Variants, INAP, AIN & IP Based protocols SIP, H.323, MGCP, E-ISUP, GTD Generic
Transparency Descriptor, Overload Control, Billing interfaces.
Worked closely with Sprint working on the requirements and implementation of a routing protocol
interface to their ARS (Advanced Routing Server).
