content switches/global load balancers to F5 LTM, cisco nexus gear.
AT&T Labs Inc San Ramon, CA: Nov 2010 – April 2012: Technical Support Engineer Supporting AT&T access
network solutions of Fiber to the Node (FTTN) of Alcatel and Ericsson DSLAM, IPDSLAM, BPON, and GPON. In
addition, my day to work involves supporting router (Alcatel-Lucent 7750) and switches (Alcatel-Lucent 7450),
Network Management Systems, IPTV solution, Cisco access points, STB and residential gateway. Day to day work
also involves supporting, AT&T approval for use (AFU), Systems Integration Lab (SIL), Production Support Lab (PSL),
CPE team, light speed Access Architecture sub-teams. I have developed scripts using fanfare iTest tool and lab view
software from scratch to perform HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) tests. My automation efforts reduced test cycle
from SIX weeks to ONE week
Verizon, Baltimore July 2009 – Nov 2010: Video Test Engineer FiOS System Integration testing group in
Verizon Technology Department: I have developed and executed test cases for real world proof of concept of triple
play environments applications (SIP, H248, and VOIP voice calls, video and data services) in laboratory for network
elements of Alcatel GPON, Motorola GPON / BPON and Tellabs BPON, Juniper E-320, M-320, Cisco C10K, Cisco
Catalyst switches. Also developed scripts using iTest test tools in control plane configurations and data plane end to
end verification in above mentioned network elements using test equipment of shenick, and Spirent test center.
2. Tellabs, Petaluma CA: Feb 2007 to May 2008: Staff Engineer System Verification and Integration team,
Responsible in all phases of testing in Tellabs 8865 Multi Service Router end to end GPON – OLT/ONT in features of
Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) 802.1ag Ethernet OAM, VLAN staking, VPLS, SIP and Tellabs 1000 DLC for
services of VGW and IPTV and EMS . Developed test plans, testing development process, automation using ATR tool,
execution of test cases in entire development cycle. I have worked on AGILE to manage test plans.
