Post Sales ICT Engineer in NASCO (May 2011 – Present)
Worked as ICT engineer in Saudi MOI nationwide turn-key project. This project is serving
MOI’s constituent 12 security agencies. Worked on design phase for the TETRA Core
(Motorola), RF sites, CAD & Dispatch Network (20 sites with more than 200 dispatchers),,
Walky Talkies, CCTV network for network surveillance, Fully Protected MW based Backhaul
(Harris/Aviat Networks), Fiber Solutions for links protection & complete power solutions
(Commercial power, Backup Generators, and DC power solutions).
Following are the brief details of the day to day activities:
Deployed Motorola RF sites in the west region and was responsible for the commissioning,
integration & trouble shooting of radios, controllers, duplexers etc on RF sites, Also worked
with Motorola engineers on Main and Fallback MSO; one of the biggest TETRA networks in
the ME region.
GE’s CCTV Solution’s Configuration, Commissioning and Integration. Activities include
both working at the remote sites and in the Main control centre as well.
AVIAT’s Microwave configuration and routing of Ethernet and E1’s with STAR and RING
topologies.
Commissioned Emerson’s DC Rectifiers and supervised the installation of different capacity
of UPS’s as per Emerson’s international standards.
Worked on OscilloQuartz RTU (Re-Timing UNIT) used for synchronization E1’s time through
GPS for each and every site.
Supervised the data room’s facilities infrastructure for the two main MSO (Control Rooms)
for MOI network. Facilities infrastructure includes UPS’s, Air-conditioning, Building alarms,
specialized raised flooring, lights, cable entries etc. Performed QA/QC as per Motorola R56
installation and quality standards on subcontractors work before taking over the RF sites.
Worked on configuration of servers at the two MSO’s to enable them for full geographic
redundancies.
Carried out SAT with MOI’s consultants.
Worked on Network Monitoring servers like NMT, NMS, Motolocator and using applications
like OEM and Zonewatch in order to view all the alarms in those application and
coordinating with the operations team for rectification the faults.
Conducted survey of different site location for the installation of Motorola dispatchers
workstation installation and BARCO (TV screen in Control rooms) installations.
Supervised the installation and performed ATP for the BARCO (4x4 TV screen in Control
Centers) system.
Worked on the integration of the dispatcher consoles and readiness for the customer.
Manage and arrange tasks for installation teams on daily and weekly basis.
2G/TRM Engineer in CCS (ZJPTCC) (December 2010 – April 2011)
