PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Polycom SIP End points (IP335, IP550, IP650, IP7000, Sound station duo, Linus
Endpoints (VVX400, VVX300, VVX500, VVX600 & VVX1500). All end points
maintenance project. In this VVX500, VVX600, VVX1500 & New device CX5500 are
video supported phones. These end points will support all polycom features & SIP
standard features. These Polycom End points are very user friendly compare to all other
companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• I am responsible for testing all the aforementioned Polycom end points with
different servers testing all the endpoints viz., stress testing, verifying the memory
leakage and I am responsible for Microsoft lync (Skype for business) server
• I worked in both Manual and Automation testing and Admin for Lync server
• I tested all the end to end testing with all the protocols (SIP & h.323) and
transport protocols with UDP,TCP & TLS and RTP & SRTP
• I worked on customer escalated issues, where we fix the issue, followed by
verification and reproducibility
• I can be able to work on very huge releases with in short span of time
• I had worked on HTTP & HTTPS pushing the audio, data & video files to the
phones

• In Polycom phones having special features like URL dialing, we worked on
testing the features where through IP also we could dial another phone.
• We tested the phones which support video to audio and vice versa along with
testing all the surrounding through automation.
• We are having several automation tools like Autotester, a tool in which all the
automated test cases are stored in. In this, we could run and mansion the platforms
(Phones) where it will be running until it ends and saves the logs as per the test

developing the products like fixed line calling cards with different applications. We had
also verified the call flow and billing process using emulators. Apart from these, we have
also handled the IN network.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• We have tested the products, those related to IN network. PPS (Prepaid and
postpaid service) and PPT (Prepaid and postpaid telephony)
• PPS is calling cards and PPT is general subscriber to subscriber
• We have tested on billing the entire products and IVRS
• We had done functional, Regression and Sanity testing on the product.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
SIP 96x1 (9608, 9611, 9621, 9641) Avaya SIP phones. In that phones 9608 and 9611
were button phones, 9621 and 9641 were touch phones. These phones were the most
advanced phones, where some new features were introduced. They are like Bridge call
appearance, busy indicator etc. These phones were the best SIP phones in the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Registering the phones with 2 proxies and doing major testing like failover and
failback. Testing the features like three call forwarding’s (Call forward
unconditional, call forward user busy and call forward user not responding),
transfers (Blind Transfer and Transfer consulting), call hold and other new
features like Bridge call appearance and busy indicators. Testing all these features
with all signaling parts.
• Executing the regression test suit in QC. Writing the test cases and executing the
test cases according to that.
• Testing the End points (phones) using third party Proxies. Verifying whether the
phones are working properly and are not in third party environment
• We were able to use WEB applications using WML scripts with these Avaya
phones.
• Raising the bugs in the current build as per the priority in Jira Tool. The
corresponding bug fix will appear in the new builds, where sanity will be done in
that builds.
• We have used SMs (Session managers) and CM (Communication managers)
which are like proxy and media gateways.
• We have used SMGR which is like PBX, where we could create extensions and
features as per the need like call forwards, Transfers and all.
• We have used automation sequential call testing, where we had analyzed the
number of days required for quality testing and memory testing of 50000 calls as
well as phones.
HUAWEI UMG (UNIVERSAL MEDIA GATEWAY 8900) PROJECT

UMG8900 is the latest version Huawei‘s media gateway which supports Processing
capacity, 20,000 VOIP Channels and 2,20,000 TDM Trunks. It supports interfaces
E1/T1/STM-1, FE/GE ports and it supports protocols SIP, H.248, SIGTRAN (M2UA,
IUA, V5UA) & V5. It provides complete encoding capability with support for G.711,
G.723, G.726, and G.729. It had achieved a balance between QoS and capacity.
It provides network-level reliability by supporting the dual homing
function. It was equipped with a distributed independent clock system, modular and real
time alarm mechanism for equipment-level reliability
RESPONSIBILITIES
• I had given my support to the Airtel fixed line in customer primacies. In
UMG using i. Manager and conducting AT. We had verified if there is any
call dropping or not
• Maintaining the UMG3600, call status reporting.
• Adding the accounts and attaching PRIs to it in the UMG through i.Manager
• Interacting with other clients
• Upgrading the UMG3600 and Shifting the accounts from TDM to UMG
• Monitoring the UMG3600's alarms time to time
• Resolving the major issues

RESPONSIBILITIES • Registering the phones with 2 proxies and doing major testing like failover and failback. Testing the features like three call forwarding’s (Call forward unconditional, call forward user busy and call forward user not responding), transfers (Blind Transfer and Transfer consulting), call hold and other new features like Bridge call appearance and busy indicators. Testing all these features with all signaling parts. • Executing the regression test suit in QC. Writing the test cases and executing the test cases according to that. • Testing the End points (phones) using third party Proxies. Verifying whether the phones are working properly and are not in third party environment • We were able to use WEB applications using WML scripts with these Avaya phones. • Raising the bugs in the current build as per the priority in Jira Tool. The corresponding bug fix will appear in the new builds, where sanity will be done in that builds.
