OVERVIEW
The following positions were home office based with a given territory to manage, market,
and sell consumer food and foodservice products. Time management and attention to
detail were essential in building and retaining relationships with clients.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Sunkist Growers, Inc. 1991-1995
Sales Representative, Kansas City
Sales and marketing of Sunkist Citrus and Sunkist brand food items to distributors, retail
grocery, and produce brokers in the Kansas City and Missouri region. Responsibilities
included the arrangement of transportation for the Sunkist product to the customer and
creating customer specific programs to promote and market the Sunkist product. Produce
inspections were done as needed. District sales goals were met in all categories of
Sunkist products.
Hunt-Wesson Foodservice, Inc (Conagra Company) 1995-1997
Territory Sales Manager, Houston, TX
Sales of Hunt-Wesson product line to distributors, restaurants, schools, and institutions.
Responsibilities included creating selling programs to maximize distribution of product
and marketing the Hunt-Wesson line to end-users through sales calls, food shows, and
presentations.
Campbell’s Soup Company (Foodservice Division) 1997
Territory Sales Manager, Kansas City
Sales, marketing, and merchandising of the Campbell’s full line of products.
Responsibilities included working closely with distributors to promote and sell the
Campbell’s full line of soups, frozen meals, Pepperidge Farm, Pace, and V8 brand items.
Food shows, tastings, and presentations to individual accounts were also key in moving
the product line and achieving sales objectives.

2. Basic American Foods 1997-1999
Territory Sales Manager, Orange Co. CA
Sales and marketing of premium dehydrated potato and bean products primarily to school
systems, healthcare, and restaurant chains. Responsible for working with key brokers in
a “team” environment to promote and sell product. District objectives were met
consistently.
Blue Valley School District 2008-2011
Paraprofessional, Overland Park, KS
Responsible for assisting in the supervision, care, and instruction of special needs
students in the regular classroom or in a self-contained classroom. Assisted in
implementing plans for instruction, monitoring student behavior, and providing
information to appropriate personnel.
