Markets opened lower in the wake of weak global cues and witnessed selling during the first half of the day. An
intraday bounce in banking counters led the indices to close above 5200 mark. On the daily charts, we are
witnessing momentum oscillator viz., the stochastic, which is in an extremely oversold zone. Further, the coming
trading session is expected to remain volatile due to the announcement of RBI monetary policy during market
hours.
On the upside, if Nifty Future manages to close above today’s high i.e. 5226 level then it is likely to test 5300
levels in the coming trading sessions. On the down side, if 5160 is breached then we may witness selling
pressure up to 5100-5080 levels.
