Resumé ANDREW STONE, P.G.
NPPD, South Platte,
Nebraska
Mr. Stone performed field investigation and reporting for Nebraska Public Power
to determine scour and void potential beneath concrete structures at Kearney
Spillway, Southerland Dam and Maloney Dam.
Large Dam,
Silverthorne,
Colorado
Mr. Stone performed drilling investigation to determine relative “soft” material
below foundation, as part of continuing investigation for stability.
Hazeltine, Road
Runner Rest II and
Brinkman-
Woodward Gravel
Reservoirs, Adams
County, Colorado,
for Denver Water
Mr. Stone performed oversight for the construction of an approximately 3-mile
slurry wall. Tasks included oversight of excavation, identification of the depth of
bedrock key material, and all aspects of quality control testing for slurry and
backfill mixtures.
Southern Delivery
System, El Paso
and Pueblo
Counties, Colorado
Mr. Stone assisted with a Geologic Hazard Report for the proposed pipeline
alignments. Necessary tasks included soil and rock borings, data collection and
review, aerial photo analysis, field reconnaissance, geologic mapping, and
geologic hazard identification and delineation.
Treiber Lakes Slurry
Wall, Fort Collins,
Colorado
Mr. Stone was the Quality Control Manager for slurry wall construction.
Responsibilities included oversight of excavation, identification of key material
and quality control testing for slurry and backfill mixtures.
Subsurface
Environmental
Investigations at
multiple sites,
Massachusetts
Mr. Stone conducted subsurface investigations, using Geoprobe, Air-Rotary,
and Rock Coring methods to identify and define the extent of subsurface
contamination. He produced boring and well construction logs for soil/rock
borings and installed monitoring wells. In addition, he collected soil and
groundwater samples for chemical analysis, using low-flow sampling methods.
IRA Monitoring
Activities,
Keyspan/PG&E,
Salem,
Massachusetts
Mr. Stone assisted in operation, maintenance and monitoring activities at a
former manufactured-gas facility. Responsibilities included compilations of the
monthly groundwater elevation survey, collection of groundwater characteristic
data and monitoring for non-aqueous-phase-liquid (NAPL) in the site’s passive
treatment system. In addition, he assisted in maintenance of NAPL collection
system in the intertidal zone of the ocean cove. Low-flow sampling techniques
were used to collect groundwater samples for chemical analysis.
Phase I
Environmental Site
Assessments at
multiple sites,
Massachusetts
Mr. Stone conducted site visits and visited municipal, federal and state offices to
collect comprehensive information for preparation and writing of Phase I, Site
Assessment Reports.

Surface Soil and
Groundwater
Sampling and Risk-
Based Disposal
Plan, Metropolitan
District
Commission,
Canton,
Massachusetts
Mr. Stone obtained samples to identify and determine the extent of
contamination. He assisted in the preparation for a Risk-Based Disposal Plan
for demolition and off-site disposal of buildings and their contents suspected of
containing high concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in the
preparation of a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan and the specifications
for demolition and disposal of building material.
Gates Rubber
Facility, Monitoring

Direct Push
Injections, Denver,
Colorado
Mr. Stone was the Field Operation Leader for the coordination and oversight of
monitoring well installation and in-situ pressure injections of an emulsified oil
substrate via direct push technologies for the treatment of source mass
contamination.
Sediment Sampling,
Mountain Creek
Lake Industrial
Center, Dallas,
Texas
Mr. Stone was the Project Task Manager for the development of multiple
Sampling and Analysis Plans for the collection of sediment samples via petite-
ponar and Vibracore technologies. He was also the Field Operations Leader
