Geotechnical Construction Oversight August 2002 – January 2007
• Oversaw and collected samples using test pit and test boring methods.
• Performed inspections of foundation, building pad, parking lot and roadway subgrades using standard penetration
tests and nuclear density gauge. Recommendations for corrective actions made and oversight of these actions was
performed.
Concrete Oversight, Inspection, and Testing August 2002 – January 2007
• Performed concrete inspection and testing, observed placement procedures and reinforcing steel. Performed auger
cast pile installation inspection and oversight. Performed slump testing of fresh concrete, measured air content using
air entrainment meter, and molded cylinders for compressive strength testing.
Construction Oversight for Roadway and Roadway Bridges August 2002 – January 2007
• Monitored the foundation bearing, performed concrete inspection and testing, observed placement procedures and
reinforcing steel for two roadway bridges.
• Monitored the compacted fill for roads and parking lots. Services included evaluation of fill materials, observation of
