PROFILE
Geologist with masters degree experienced in geological supervision and analysis, in
tandem with supervision of directional drilling subcontractors to land and complete
horizontal gas, heavy and light oil wells. Experience with sandstone, shale, and carbonate
reservoirs in Canada and the United States including cased, barefoot, multi-leg, SAGD,
experimental and under-balanced wells. Structurally challenging (folded, faulted) and thin

Responsibilities - Wellsite geological analysis and supervision of directional drilling to
land and complete horizontal wells. Authored and submitted drilling reports,
recommendations, striplogs and catalogued samples at the completion of each well.

and maintaining gas detector and wellsight lab. Integrate gas, MWD data and drilling
parameters with sample observations to determine well-path location with respect to
optimal reservoir. Combined all said data with well-path plots and lithological
microdescriptions to produce comprehensive, concise, striplogs to update clients in real-
time. At well completion authored, edited and submitted drilling reports, striplogs and
catalogued samples. Excelled as communication hub between wellsite and home offices
across multiple disciplines often with commonly changing and challenging personnel to
keep well-path in the target reservoir when it would have otherwise not have been,
(commonly deviating from pre-spud plans). Experienced with geo-steering and striplog
