EMPLOYMENT
Current Employer
ROSS FARM MACHINERY, ROSS ON WYE, HEREFORDSHIRE
I joined RFM in October 2009 after being made redundant from Gunn JCB after 15
years. I am employed as a JCB Field Product Specialist maintaining and repairing a range
of agricultural JCB machines. I carry our software updates and fault finding with the aid
of computer diagnostics. Around 90% of my work is spent on site dealing face to face
with customers, with only major machine overhauls being brought into a workshop
environment. I have been responsible for helping the company to pass audits relating to
JCB warranty by overseeing past and present jobs.
I make sure engineers who work on JCB’s are kept up to date with the latest software and
fault finding techniques. I also liaise between the company and JCB in possible warranty/
policy job claims making sure all the information is available so a decision can be made in
a timely manner. I will attend other depots to help with JCB machines that are being
difficult to repair or are having issues with software updates.
I am looking too get more involved in middle management as it is a field that I feel I could
enjoy and have a positive impact for a company, but I am open to a different challenge
should a position become available.
I am honest hardworking and believe in giving my all to the company who employs me.
I never come with a problem unless I have a possible solution.
