I am a confident, ambitious, forward thinking, IT literate professional who is used to achieving and exceeding all
targets and goals, within all areas of my life.
From an apprentice motor mechanic with Opel in Germany to a Branch Manager for Halfords Autocentres, in the
West Midlands, I have always worked within the automotive sector giving me a rounded and extensive knowledge
of all aspects of this industry, from the bottom up.
I consider myself to have gained throughout these years excellent communication and remuneration skills, the
skills to communicate with people at all levels, whether it be to motivate, problem solve or to pass on important
pertinent information. I have excellent organisational and time management skills which I have used to improve
efficiency, and I consider myself to have the ability to relate well with others to establish good working
relationships throughout all levels of business.
I have practical experience in various dealership computer software systems including 1 link system, KARLO, CSS,
TYRE SOFT2 and general software for example Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook.

Following a promotion to branch manager in October 2007 I moved to Halfords Auto centre in Kidderminster. My
responsibilities include liaison with customers and suppliers, dealing with and solving queries and complaints,
management of staff, technical problem solving & analysis and achieving sales/profit targets by providing high
quality service to both private and fleet sectors in line with company policy and procedures.
Senior Technician Stourbridge
Halfords Autocentres August 06 to October 07
Followingthe demise of Lynwood Engineering I joined Halfords Auto centres in August 2006 as a senior technician
my main responsibilities being general mechanical duties that also included solving the more complex technical
problems. Providing support to the branch manager when necessary and taking over the responsibility of the
branch when the manager was absent. Duties included liaising with customers, logging vehicles, dealing with
customer queries and complaints and the day to day running of the workshop to maintain efficiency and time
management.
Production Manager Tipton
Lynwood Engineering Oct 04 to Jul 06
Following a move to Britain I joined Lynwood engineering to manage the production line for the reconditioning of
power steering racks and power steering pumps in line with the quality standard ISO9002.
My responsibilities included production planning in line with customer’s schedules, sourcing and purchasing of
materials to produce the reconditioned steering units, development and maintenance of technical specification
sheets and production of Bills of Materials, handling of all customers warranties and completion of warranty
statistics,in linewith ISO 9001, Quality policy and for inclusion in management budgets, supervision of personnel
within the steering division and provision of production figures and statistics for the management tea m.

Delco Remy Mar 02 to Sep 04
Following the demise of TTV I joined Delco Remy to manage all aspects of core purchased for reconditioning.
Example’s of which are, wiper motors, ignition distributors, power steering racks and pumps. I also managed the
technical sideof all warranty issues with these products and introduced a new warranty procedures system within
the Belgium manufacturing plant.

Joined as sales manager in the automotive parts shop and call centre manager to achieve sales targets, I was later
promoted to goods inward manager to optimisewarehousingand improve quality. Following a 2 year period I was
again promoted to control technical side of all warranty issues with customers and suppliers. Following another
two year period I was promoted to old core Manager managing the old core warehouse and all staff to insure the
delivery of old core for the remanufacturing process and finally my skills and experience led me to be promoted to
work for TTV Britain liaising the English with the German division of the company.

My first year duties included working alongside a fully qualified mechanic undertaking supervised duties which

responsibility of undertaking all duties with only part supervision and finally my third year where I worked
unsupervised to its conclusion where I was certified as a Mechanic.
