3. RESUME
1979: I started working for PLM, which was a glass manufacturing company (Container
glass). I worked as technician in the production line and at machinery hall as machine
operator.
1981: I resigned because of another assignment and started working for Daros AB, which
was producing Piston rings for all kind of engines/machinery. My duties there included
quality control of the company’s products, which involved measuring and metallurgical
control.
1981: I started working for VOLVO AB as technician in the sheet metal stamping
division as an operator on hydraulic presses, but after one year I was promoted to
technician in the maintenance/repair workshop.
The new job required High Skill in Handcraft works with power machining tools,
milling, grinding, drilling, welding, heat treatment of metals as the work was precision
jobs on Stamping tooling.
1989: I resigned and started to work for Granges Metalock (later Metalock Industrial
Service) as a Service Engineer in the On-Site Service Division with duties such as
machining all kind of heavy-duty equipment (grinding, drilling, milling, honing and also
mechanical works.) The on-site jobs is mostly time High Precision work with small
tolerances and very high value machinery/parts to work with, as the jobs was on
Machinery parts in Critical areas, Where I have execute the jobs to Customers
Satisfaction.
1991: I was offered a position with Goltens A/S in Norway and joined them in February
the same year as a Service Engineer for the On-Site Division, which covered generally
the same duties as in Granges Metalock. After one year I was promoted to Supervisor and
transferred to Dubai (UAE) to set up new workshop for On-Site Machining Division for
Goltens, Dubai, which included responsibility of all equipment, estimation of jobs, the
completion schedule and costs. In this position I was also negotiate with Customers on
regarding the projects where my diplomatic skills and contract setup/reviews was
needed. I completed the scoops successfully. The Dubai Workshop it’s the best setup in
the Company and it’s still there.
1992: I resigned for a better position with Singapore and ABC Engineering as Supervisor
and constructor of equipment for On-Site Machining. Duties included daily responsibility
for workshop and design of new equipment and when needed, working offshore as well.
January 1996: I joined Van Der Horst as an appointed Area Manager for newly started
On-Site Service Division with responsibility for setting up the new On-site division and
with further daily operation of division (sales, marketing, quotation, invoices,
development and design of equipment and control of man power) .
4. Here With my organization skills, business skills I handling multitasks projects and
manpower handling under high pressure successfully.
June 1997: I worked as the Technical Advisor for a Golf resort, with responsibility for all
vehicles, buildings at the resort and Manpower in the Engineering division. The duties
included development of resorts facilities. This assignment was for 3 months. This was
on Project basis to set-up a maintenance system.
1998: I worked as a Consultant and Technical Advisor, taking care of projects such as
overhauling of heavy duty machinery (SBM Bouy) which involved responsibility over
approximately 80 workers, building and construction of mobile crane and other industrial
heavy duty equipment. Here again I was handling multitasks project under high and
time pressure which was all completed successfully This was on Project for 6 months.
1999: I worked as a Technical advisor for a Machine shop to look after daily operation,
planning of Manpower, Production, Tooling, Machinery, Development of machine shops,
Costs of Production, Design of equipment, analytical and practical trouble shooting of
productivity and quality. The company’s mainly product was Oil Field Down hole
tooling and wire line units. I was training staff to increase the productivity and to do
high precision products with approximately 25 machinists and fabricators.
This was on Project for 12 months.
Year 2000: In May I was appointed by Amtek Engineering Ltd. as a Senior Production
Executive, with responsibility for a Project in the Amtek NCT Division in Singapore
Jurong Plant.
Duties included: Design of assembly flow-line and layout, factory design for
manufacturing for metal stamping, deciding the duties of the personnel, designing
computer program for production and process control using Excel and Microsoft Project.
In addition, the work involved a cost savings Project, successfully achieved and saved
the company $20,000 per month on a single specific product. I was also directly
involved in setting up a Business Plan for New Branch in Mexico, which included all
tasks from Sales Forecasting to advising the buying of machine equipment and the
manpower and facilities needed. I was the Project Leader for the this operation.
April 2002: As part of this US$10 million Amtek Mexicali project I moved Mexicali to
take care of Amtek NCT Operation in Mexico and development of the facilities.
Throughout this time I was also involved in implementing ISO/QS 9001 and I was
involved in the setup procedure and the system for NCT Singapore as well as NCT
Mexicali
2003: Recently I have done a Project as a consultant with several works in On-site
machining and which also has been included design and construction of On-Site
machining tools.
Most of the jobs have been Ship repair, Offshore, Oil Field or Heavy Industry related
jobs.
5. Autumn 2004: I return to Sweden and rejoin Metalock Engineering to work as service
engineer as my previous employment earlier.
2006 – 2007: I was invited to join Chalmers & Kubeck as Service Engineer for their On-
site Machining operation in Philadelphia plant I USA.
My duties was included with Inspection of job inquiries, Design of new equipment, Job
calculation both Money wise and time planning.
After few month I was promoted to assistant manager.
October 2007: Start working for MacGREGOR as Installation Engineer which included
duties as installation assistance and Commissioning of RoRo equipment. The
performance of this job required electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and PLC
knowledge/experience.
February 2015: Working Hydropower Plant on a project in Mozambique for KTAB as
Project leader on reconditioning of Turbine and new installation of new Turbine and
Generator. Leading of staff between 6-12 people on and off,
