S- The award represents my
initiative of ASE Spirit and Ontario
Scholarship award.
T-Accomplishing the award was like
swimming the Nile River. I had to
overcome habits of procrastination
and achieve a grade point average
of 85%+ but also keep on smiling
regardless of stressful times.
A-The steps I took to complete my
task were writing. Working part-time
and going to school full-time is not
easy. I fond writing always helped
release stress and fatigue.
R- The results were outstanding, I
achieved the success of being
accepted to Centennial College
and achieving two awards.
S- These two pictures represent my
graduation from Woburn
Collegiate Institute and my future
diploma from Centennial College
for International Business
Administration.
T-In order to complete my task of
achievement from Woburn
Collegiate, I had to complete 42
credits and maintain a 75%+
average. I had to ensure I
attended my classes, understood
my lectures and worked efficiently.
Centennial College is still a work in
progress but is requiring me to
maintain a 4.0 average to ensure Future
my acceptance in University.
A- The steps I took to complete
the action involved were
completing my assignments,
attending classes, tutoring sessions
and long nights.
R-By ensuring a 75%+ average, it
has given me knowledge and Graduated 2011
discipline my future career and
education.
S- I have worked at McDonalds Canada
Limited since 2010-Present at Markham and
Progress. I play a efficient and friendly Cashier
which ensures the customers happiness.
T- Currently I maintained high standards of
customer service during high-volume, fast-
paced operations (as both a drive-through
and in-store cashier), communicated clearly
and positively with coworkers and
management, handled currency and credit
transactions quickly and accurately, followed
procedures for safe food preparation,
assembly, and presentation, lastly resolved
complaints promptly and professionally.
A- The steps I took to ensure a friendly
working environment were communication.
Communication is key at McDonalds because
I am able to be aware of what my team and
customers need.
R- I have learned strong worth ethic and
communication from working at McDonalds.
My workplace has developed my soft and
practical skills for my future career.
S- These three pictures represent the past
two years of my summer as a Career
Expo, Metro Toronto Convention Centre
Worker and Volunteer Gardener. The three
special events I attended over the summer
that has enriched my knowledge and
developed my creativity because of my
current role to keep the customer happy and
maintain workplace goals.
T- My duties involved, answering customers
questions, ensuring safety, handling
money, greeting customers. My employers
purpose was always to fulfill customers needs
to ensure a stable customer base. To make
sure customers were always put on top, I had
to make sure my smile was always put on my
face regardless of how ugly the situation
would be
A- The steps I took were a healthy approach
to my job. I would make sure my sleep, eating
and social life were taken care of.
R- I learned to always have a positive
attitude because it can create a healthy
atmosphere as well as positive career
opportunities for the future.
S- These pictures were taken from the
period of 2010-2012. My everyday task was
to ensure the safety of the children and
happiness. My role played a bigger role
than I could imagine because the children
looked at me as a role-model, constantly
making sure I was on my “A Game” .
T- Volunteering at the Scarborough
Community Centre, I helped raise money
for the school and extra co-curricular
activities by organizing school events and
educated the „Girls Club‟ about the
environment, becoming a teenager, and
helping the community. Secondly, tutoring
Biology as part of a high school tutoring
program, to answer and help students
understand better. Lastly, babysitting on
the weekends by changing diapers, lunch
time and play time. Achieving the task was
never easy because all three volunteer
positions required PATIENCE!
A-The steps I took to complete the task
were patience, healthy diet, a good team
and sleep! Working with a younger age
group is never easy but with my 4 steps it
was manageable.
R-The outcome was positive, I was able to
grow as an individual and learn a bit about
what career would best likely suit me.
S-This picture was taken in Mexico
during April 2012. It was a experience
of a lifetime. I was given the
opportunity to understand what
poverty is, watching the sunset go
down and dolphins swim by but also
appreciate life.
T- I learned the struggles families
endure, but what is being given to
the rich, which shouldn‟t be.
A-The steps I took to complete this
task were to live life I was able to
understand Mexican
traditions, cultures, and food because
I was able to let myself indulge in their
city.
R- The results were excellent, I
brought the experience to Canada
enriching my friends and family to live
and look at life differently.
