OBJECTIVE
My goal is to immerse myself into the business world, where I can utilize my expertise
in customer service and experience from various job backgrounds. I very much value
my attention to details and flexibility to approach any job setting. I want to take on any
challenges head on and have something to show for any business ventures or
achievements I might acquire. I am willing to do whatever it takes and whatever is
necessary to not only be successful, but also excel at what I do.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Randall K. Cooper High School (Union, KY) August 2015-June 2016
Position Details: Para-Educator, Severe Autism Unit, Special Education.
I was required to communicate with parents and other teachers in regards to students’
needs and work. I tutored individual students in their work and kept them on task. I
made various trips around the school building working with different students, taking
them on walks, and at times counseling individual students. I worked with the lower-
functioning Autistic students in the community, and got to go on various field trips to
stores and restaurants. This position required a lot of flexibility and it goes without
saying learning how to adapt to everyday situations.
EKU Campus Recreation Fitness and Wellness Center (Richmond, KY) January
2014-May 2015
Position Details: Facilities Employee, Customer Service, Desk Worker
I checked in patrons and addressed their questions and concerns via telephone and face
to face. I handled money through memberships, fees and patrons checking in guests.
Utilized technology and software specialized for the business aspects of my job. I was
CPR certified through my employment and was trained to address just about any
medical issue that could arise at the campus recreation center. What I gained most from
this job was being able to adapt or react to any situation that might arise and being
ready for anything. I was the first face most if not all patrons saw when they came in.
Wal-Mart (Sandusky, OH) May 2014-August 2014
Position Details: Customer Service, Zoning, Stocking Shelves, Cashier, Returns
This was a temporary summer job I applied for in Sandusky, OH. I was working with
almost 15-20 other peers. We were at the mercy of the management there as far as what
to do with us. Primarily did odd jobs and filled in vacant cash registers and made sure
all summer products were stocked consistently. I handled many pallets of product,
moving them with dollies and unloaded shipments of product, and organized them
based on department.
Domino’s Pizza (Berea, KY) December 2013-May 2014
Position Details: Pizza Delivery Driver, Quality Inspector, Customer Service
This position is pretty self-explanatory, but I often handled money (tips, customer
payment on deliveries and at the store) and communicated with employees and fellow
drivers prior and at times during delivery runs and routes. While I was not making
deliveries, I often would handle the products themselves in terms of boxing and slicing.
Sonny’s BBQ Restaurant (Richmond, KY) May 2012-May 2013, June 2015-July 2016
Position Details: Line Cook, Dish-Washer
I worked at Sonny’s throughout college and before my move to Northern Kentucky. I
prepped food, washed dishes, portioned and inspected quality of food, worked and
communicated with my fellow employees and managers constantly. It was very much a
team effort working this job. Being short-handed brought much stress and confusion at
times, but as a team we worked well together. I often times had to open and close shop,
making sure all food is weighed and accounted for. All cooking surfaces were clean and
prepped with utensils for the next shift. I was accustomed to working long days in this
job, early mornings, late nights, you name it. Out of all of my previous jobs, I felt like
this was the most challenging physically and at times emotionally.
First Gear (Richmond, KY) June 2011-May 2012
Position Details: Production Assistant, Packaging, Screen Maintenance
This was a position I acquired through my dad who had also worked here. Following
high school and during my first year in college I occasionally would work, doing small
and at times tedious tasks to help the screen-printing business run more efficiently. So
to speak this was my very first job. I communicated with my fellow screen-printers and
worked for a few hours at a time often handling chemicals, pressure-washers and
apparel needing to be folded and packaged.
ACHIEVEMENTS
EKU Presidential Scholarship Recipient (2011) An academic scholarship acquired by
incoming freshmen with at least a 23 ACT and 3.5 GPA. Maintained by at least a 3.0
cumulative GPA in College Courses.
Dean’s List (Spring 2012, Fall 2012, Spring 2013) Accumulating a semester GPA of
3.5 or higher. Achieved three times.
INVOLVEMENT
Member of EKU Campus Outreach (January 2012-May 2015)
Through C.O. I participated and was involved in a variety of activities, often college
oriented. I made lifelong friends and developed many relationships with fellow college
students through on-campus events, retreats, and conferences. I learned many
leadership and communication skills along the way, as I went to said events and became
more involved as a student. I was involved in various bible studies and men’s groups. I
was the mentor and mentee so to speak.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT & VOLUNTEER
EXPERIENCE
Summer Project – EKU Campus Outreach (May 2013, 2014 – August 2013, 2014)
First summer was spent as a student in Sandusky, OH. Worked and ministered to the
general public in northern Ohio. Second summer was similar, however, I had the
position of room leader, in which I was placed in charge or in leadership over 5 other
students, during this time I also worked and ministered to the general public in
northern Ohio.
Southland Christian Church – Lexington, KY (September 2014) - Haiti Packathon
I volunteered for two hours at the church to help fellow volunteers pack meals for
Haitians.
