 Hired to assist with company turn-around and to establish first formal HR department.
 Implemented first Compensation Plan and formal wage administration program.
 Collaborated with Executive Team to establish first formal budget process.
 Negotiated Medical Benefit plan making it affordable to remote and out of state employees.
 Established first 401k savings account, Flexible Spending Account, and Employee Assistance
program.
 Successfully negotiated changes to Collective Bargaining Agreement, settled numerous grievances
avoiding arbitration.
 Negotiated two (2) year extension to expiring union contract with no employer increase to benefit
cost.
 Implemented new HRIS, Payroll, Time and Attendance and Benefits Management system resulting
in a 50% savings to the bottom line.
 Working with two different CEO’s successfully recruited and hired two Senior Vice President’s of
Operations, two Chief Financial Officers, Vice President E-Commerce, two Directors’ of Information
Technology, Director Logistics, Director of Asia Procurement, Director Financial Planning &
Analysis.
 Introduced Wellness Program and established employee facilitated Wellness Committee with
programs such as ‘Lunch Time Gadabouts – 1 mile daily walk, 3PM daily stretch, Lunch and Learns:
Healthy eating, Diabetes, etc.
 Established in-house Toastmasters group with over 18 weekly participants.
 Introduced SkillSoft on-line training programs providing Leadership Development and essential skill
development to over 100 employees.
 Introduced Enterprise Zone Project identifying 30 qualified employees resulting in a $200,000 tax
credit.
 Enhanced employee benefits by adding supplemental benefit programs: e.g. Aflac, Legal Shield,
VPI – Pet Insurance, Liberty Mutual Home & Auto Insurance.
 Updated annual Performance Reviews by building weighted on-line Performance Review platform.
