Theme or focus of images
On each photo shows a person and on picture shows two people, theses class as
illustrations because of the art done around the bodies. For example, picture four
shows a man in a suit, with the background as a pc with one hand looking through a
folder, with the other hand throwing paper balls into the trash as if deleting something
on pc.
Picture one is one of best ones out of the six because it suits best with the art
contrasting a good blend of photography, it shows a guy punching a clock, may
refer to when at work when you punch in to show that you are present. His clothes
look like he some sort of martial artist.
Then there is picture five which remind me of the film Percy Jackson(Poseidon’s son)
which he is the god of the sea so this picture may refer to the person as a god who
can control the sea, therefore kind of makes him look powerful making the
photography all that much greater.
Then we have picture six which almost like trying tell me something, it shows a guy
and he plays a role as a puppeteer of two women one with a pink dress and the
other women has a green top, if you look at the guys top it has similar colours to the
girls but it is cut down the middle. It is like he can control these two women but has
equally feeling for them by wearing the multi-coloured t-shirt. It is similar picture five
because they are both male and they both have control over something.
Picture Two is a man kicking a piggybank which has wings, it’s like the phrase “… will
happen when pigs fly” saying it’s never going to happen so this image may show that
pigs can’t fly because they get kicked all the time by people like him, if you look
closely you can see that the guy has sport shoes on maybe for rugby or football, in
this case hitting pigs. It could also refer to picture one because they are hitting
3. something one each image.
Finally there is Picture Three I couldn’t get my head round it but it looks like a pimped
out tricycle, with it big wheels and nice paint job, on the guys face you can see that it
is a fast ride because he is hanging on for dear life but also you can tell it is going
really fast by looking at the ground and you can see that the stones are flying as if it is
going at a fast speed to throw the rocks away from the tires.
These entire Images look like they were taken in a room with some sort of material
against a wall or even the floor, so that the artist could paint the designs, then place
the person to where the director of photography would place them.
Composition
Theses look like it could be taken from the air as if looking of a bird’s eye view
because it looks like that and it is mostly full body shots to get the whole person and
they included most of the images art because that was the right suite for the person,
there is a lot to see in the image you can see what I said I could find in the questions
above, also there could be more thing that I can’t see. If I said them now then I
would have seen Them.
As the photographer decides where to stand, moves the camera, or zooms in on a
scene, she selects what to include in the image. What did the photographer choose
to include or exclude in the image? If she had zoomed out or stood further away,
what additional information could we see? The composition of the photograph can
also be altered later by cropping. How does the decision to frame only certain
elements in the photograph affect the message conveyed by the photograph?
Techniques used
Probably used rule of thirds because they may needed to get the person in the right
position and they did so by using the rule of thirds, then there is shutter speed it had a
fast shutter speed because no movement is happening but the illustration show the
movement, even though it is a still image. Could say that it was a range from 1/1000f
to 1/500f maybe or even higher also you can’t really tell if there is any use depth of
field because nothing seemed to be blurred out.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths: - they all are kind of similar because of the photographer’s choice of what
to show, such as picture one and two but also Five and six, these show of the colours
of the art and go well with the props and person using those props making the
photography very good.
Weaknesses:- Some of the people’s choice of clothing didn’t seem to suite the art
making it repel to each other making it not look as good, it would still look good but it
still has the little things that won’t work maybe that person could of warn something
more relevant.
