CLIL UNIT PLAN
NAME: Laura Vilar
SUBJECT: Art
TITLE: Corporate design
YEAR: 4th
grade
Step 1: The driving question.
Let’s write down your driving question and why you think this is important.
A simple image can represent the ideology of a company?
Today the image of a company is part of their results and benefits. A graphic designer
must represent, in a picture, the aspects that a company wants to project to the world.
This is an especially important challenge to our students because they must to use all
the items worked to create this image.
They must know what is projecting all the shapes, colours, typography... that they have
been working.
Step 2: The preview of the whole unit
Preview the whole unit. Take a look at the title, headings, and captions to
obtain 15-20 basic vocabulary that must be internalized by my pupils at the end
of the unit.

Step 3: The easiest and hardest section of your unit.
Easiest: Draw the logo using the laptop.
The students enjoy working with the ICT and, when the idea is taken, draw it with the
image edition program is easy and fun.
Hardest: Create a logo that represents the adjectives proposed.
Students may be more or less creative, but it is essential that the logo represents the
corporate image the company wants to Project.
