3. The masthead of the magazine, reads
‘Film fare’, but half of the title is
covered up by the image, this is done as
the magazine is very popular and the
producers expect people to know the
title of the magazine without seeing it
written on the front cover. The title is
bright yellow as the cover of the
magazine is quite dull and the colours
are not very vibrant so the yellow stands
out more. In the left hand corner in
white, small writing it says the website
address and on the write hand side is
says the production company’s name.
The left third has only got one article
and as a whole the front cover does not
have a lot of writing or information on
it.

4. The image is the main focus of the
front cover of this magazine. This
is because the actress on the
magazine Deepika Padukone is a
very popular Bollywood as actress,
therefore having the image this big
without having much writing on
the magazine makes people want to
see what film she is in next. This
front cover is used to highlight that
Deepika’s next film is called Yeh
Jawanni Hai Dawanni. It attracts
the audience to buy the magazine
so that the audience can see what
her next film is about.

5. The flash is also bright yellow like
the title and is very big, the text in
it is bold and black and white to
showcase that the actress on the
front cover is ‘India’s no.1 best
seller.’ There are also two quotes
above the flash which gives the
audience a taste of what's inside
the magazine.
