Twitter Icon Represents 21st Century Communication Revolution

2. If I had to choose something to put in the
museum dedicated to the 21th century, I
would like to put the icon of Twitter. I
discovered, thanks to my cousin, that this
site was the most used, after facebook
and so I became curious and I decided to
make some researches about it.
3. Twitter was created in
March 2006 by the
Obvious Corporation of
San Francisco and, after
some year it had
overcame 230 million
users. It was a very
common site because, firt
of all it was simple to use
and then you could recive
instantly news from all the
world infact, it was used
instead of TV news or a
simple newspaper.
4. There, you could
exchange opinions,
shared photos or know
what your "following"
were doing. The following
were the people that you
could follow and then,
there was also the
follower, people who
followed you. A beautiful
thing, that exalted
people, was that you
could follow your idols,
knowing what they were
doing or in that time or
see pictures they shared.
5. Twitter wasn't used only to
know what people was
doing or thinking, but
conversely, it was used for
educational purposed by
some schools, universitaries
and companies. Without this
site, people couldn't have
known news if the TV news
had not shared its first and,
we have to thank the
creators, because the
people changed the way to
see the reality, opening up
to technology that was in full
