2. Thefirst thing viewers see whenthey open the
album booklet is thealbum name. Thefront cover
does not includethe album name, which I thinkis
difficult as you'dhaveto buythe albumto then
discover the name. On the other hand, this may be
a marketingmechanism, fans may buythe album
as they really want to knowthe name of the
album. Additionally, I like howsimple this is. The
booklet is consistent with the simplicity, by using
a pink background, and black font.
3. Thesecond page includes an abnormalpicture,
of a women floating ina pool. I feel this relates to
the bands identity as their personalities come
throughintheir songs and album covers by using
abnormal and different ideas. This image is not
something you’d expect to see on an album
booklet, these picturesare consistent throughout
the album booklet.
4. Thealbum booklet maintains a consistent theme, with just the images. Theimages areaimed to look like
polaroid pictures, which matches the bands identity, as they'remeant to seem indie and old fashioned. I
reallylike theuse of this polaroid style, and feel it'd be a great idea for Me and Connor to aimto achieve.
All of theimages throughoutthe booklet contain the same girl or places, this may be linkedto the songs on
the album whichare eithersung bya female or about a female in the significant places that are featured
within the booklet.
5. Theback page of the album booklet includes
the job roles of the production team, including
who wrote the songs, backing vocals, and other
instruments. Thebooklet also includes the
website and Facebook page, whichis
something Me andConnorwill includewithin
our booklet. I like how quickto the point this is,
as other albumcovers write this in small-print,
so viewers cannot read it. Thisbooklet includes
all of the team who produced the album.
