Decree of the Minister No. 20 of 2007 dated June 11, 2007 on
Standard Assessment of Education that:
 Educational assessment standards are national standards
relating to the mechanisms, procedures, and assessment
instruments learners' learning outcomes.
 Educational assessment is the process of collecting and
processing the information to determine the achievement of
student learning outcomes.
 Deuteronomy is a process that is carried out to measure the
achievement of competence of learners in the learning
process on an ongoing basis For monitor progress, make
improvements, and determine the success of learners.

performance assessment allows students to better
understand the actual concept of the subject matter is
acceptable. Not just in terms of understanding the concept
of formative but also the student can understand the
concept of the scientific side. Students can also develop
their understanding of the performance of the work carried
out and explore and demonstrate understanding or directly
involved in the system of scientific work.
Principal issue in this matter with respect to performance
assessment which will then be discussed in a sub-subject,
namely:
 Form of performance assessment
 Benefits and the obstacles encountered in the
performance assessment
 Know or understand the form or process performance
assessment activities
 Maximizing performance assessment
Performance that is, achievement / accomplishment a person with
respect to the tasks assigned to him. Assessment performance is,
the systematic description of the strengths / advantages and
weaknesses, work-related person or a group.
Performance appraisal is a formal system to inspect / assess and
evaluate regularly the performance-working person. Performance
can also be viewed as a combination of:
 The results of the work, is to be achieved by a person,
 Competence, that is how to achieve one.

 Oral Presentation: speaking skills, speech, read poetry,
discuss.
 Problem solving in groups,
 Participation in the discussion,
 Dancing,
 Playing a musical instrument,
Sports,
 Using laboratory equipment, and
 Operate a device.

2. Assessment Measures
 Identify all important aspects
 Write down all the special abilities needed
 Keep the ability to be measured not so much
 Sort the ability to be measured in order to be observed
 When using a rating scale necessary to provide criteria for
each option (eg, when ... well, just when ..., less if ...)

4. Performance Excellence and Weaknesses
a. Excellence
 Can assess complex learning outcomes
 Presenting the results of the assessment are more essential,
immediate and complete
 Increasing student motivation
 Foster learning with real situations
 Giving students for self-evaluation
 Help teachers assess the effectiveness of learning
 Enhance transferability of learning outcomes
b. Weaknesses
 Requires a lot of time
 There is an element of subjectivity in the scoring
 Accuracy of low scoring
 Not appropriate for large classes

(Conclusion)
Assessment performance is, the systematic description of the
strengths / advantages and weaknesses, work-related person
or a group. Performance-work can also be viewed as a
combination of:
 The result of that is what should be achieved by a person,
and
 That is how does one achieve competence.
Excellence and Weeknesses
1) Excellence
 Can assess complex learning outcomes
