This research investigates the satisfaction levels of lower secondary school students in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Buloh Kasap regarding the school-based assessment (PBS) system. A survey of 50 students revealed general dissatisfaction with PBS, citing it as ineffective and causing increased truancy while emphasizing the need for better teacher involvement and communication about the system's mission and vision. The findings recommend discontinuing PBS due to its perceived disadvantages compared to advantages.
