1. Setting up your channel
You will use YouTube to upload videos of your research, your work in progress, and
your final film. Using YouTube will give you a way of gathering comments from other
people, including other students and your teachers.
1. Go to www.youtube.com and click Sign Up (in the top right of the screen)
2. YouTube is owned by Google,
so you can sign in through your
Google account (which you set
up for using Blogger). Find the
link to ‘Sign in with your
Google Account!’
3. Then fill in your details to Link a new YouTube
Account (on the right of the screen). Us the same
Username etc as you did for your blog.
4. Write down all of your log in details.
To upload a video
5. When your account is set up, ensure you are
logged in and go to the Upload button in the top
right of the screen.
6. Give your film an appropriate title, description,
category and tags. Ensure your Broadcast options
are set to Public and click ‘Upload video’. Follow
onscreen prompts to upload the file (depending
on file size, it may take a while).
ALL FILES UPLOADED TO YOUTUBE MUST BE LESS THAN 100MB. THE SMALLER, THE
BETTER.
That’s it.
