  • 1. The first image shown is the original photograph, one of the pictures I took. I liked this image so I decided to use it I justwanted to edit a little to make it look more professional for my magazine. So I cropped bits of the background out as insome shots I got things in the background that I didn’t want in my photos, being a radiator in this picture. When I wenton Photoshop to edit my picture I started by just changing the brightness and contrast then I decided to add a tint andchange the colour a little, I thought this effect made the picture appear more professional and look as though it was tookin a studio due to the lightening the editing effects I chose gave it.
  • 2. I planned on taking some of my photographs then getting some pictures Iliked and editing them to put my own style on it, the kind of style that mymagazine would be like. So the above image is the one I got and then Icropped it as I only wanted to use one of them then I edited it onPhotoshop changing the colours and brightness and contrast, I havedecided that all images featured in my magazine will be sort of dark withthe colours and the blue effect I have been adding to it. So all imagesfeatured in my magazine will follow in the same style. I used this image formy front cover and decided to duplicate the image so that it was likeshowing a mirror image of the picture.
  • 3. With this image I was already quite happy with how it had turned out I just wanted to addthe effects I have been adding with the other images I am using in my magazine so that itwould fit in with my theme. So with this image I only used two effects. I used the colourchange effect and picked ‘Cyan Blue’ as the colour I wanted to change it to then when I didthat it came out a little brighter than I had wanted so I changed the contrast a little to makeit darker and that’s how I got this image that features on my double page spread.
  • 4. With this image I just wanted to make the make up stand out a bit more than it had on the original imageso it didn’t take long editing this image all I did was change the brightness and contrast putting themboth up higher and stopping when I liked how it made the image look then I changed the hue andsaturation of the image and ended up with this so just slightly changed it.
  • 5. I used this image 3 times on one page, editing it to make it look slightly different each time. I think I made itclear to see that it was the same image but I just edited it slightly to change the colours and the brightness andthe contrast of the image. So with this image all I did was first of all, cropped the image so that there was less background in it than therewas in the original so it just started shoulder to shoulder and I played around with the brightness and contrastlevels till I liked how the image looked and used the vibrant effect.

  • 7. I wanted all the images that are in my magazine to have the same effect so they all followed in the same sort ofstyle. However I have two different styles, my images will either have a blue tint over the top of them or have ablue tint to them or they will be quite bright and vibrant but soft and light at the same time.
