The Kmer Rouge Genocide
History always repeats itself. From world wars to economic slumps and even genocides, there is
always evil and corruption present where the goal is to obtain power. In order to claim power, evil
must oppress the innocent, even if the innocent attempts to break loose, evil continues to push down.
An example of evil s oppression is the genocide that occurred in the 1970 s. A communist group
known as the Khmer Rouge invaded Cambodia to transform its society into a communist agrarian
society (Cambodian Genocide). The Khmer Rouge believed that all Cambodians must work as one
huge federation of collective farmers. Anyone who opposed this was killed. If anyone questioned what
the Khmer Rouge was doing, didn t work or showed any emotion, they were killed. The Khmer Rouge
wanted equality among the people. The Khmer Rouge also questioned its own members, and
frequently executed members for suspicions of treason. Survival in Cambodia was determined by one
s ability to work. Therefore, Cambodia s elderly, handicapped, ill, and children suffered. If someone
wore glasses, they were considered an intellectual who would cause trouble and therefore was killed.
If they had a watch, they were considered wealthy and killed (McCormick). Before that in 1934, a
rival to Stalin, Sergey Kirov, was murdered. Stalin was accused of being behind the assassination, and
he used this as an excuse to arrest thousands of people. Who, in his words, could have been
responsible for Kirov s murder

The Ethical Theories Of The Ethics
There are eight major ethical theories the ones that were focused on in the video were deontological
and utilitarian. The deontological theory is the sense of obligation, that someone feels that it their
morally duty to do the right thing. The utilitarian theory is that people act and behave so that they will
produce happiness for the greatest number of people. These two different ethical theories are ways that
people behave and think is morally correct. In the video the professor talked about the two ethical
theories and how the choices that people make can connect to these two theories. The professor said
that the utilitarian theory mantra is that good makes something right, and that these people are results
oriented. The deontological theory mantra is that right makes something good, and that these people
are motive oriented. The big question is what is the morally right thing to do? consequential moral
reasoning says that someone should not kill an innocent person to say others. I think people should
always try to avoid hurting other people, but if you could save five people and only one person die,
would you do it? For example in the first situation where there are two ways the train can go with
workers on it, with no brakes, and it can either hit five workers and save the one, or save five, and kill
one worker by going down another track. The train driver has to decide quickly what to choose. Either
way someone has to die, should it be five people or one? I

Examples Of Unlocking Self-Values And Beliefs As A Nursing...
Unlocking Self Values and Beliefs as a Nursing Student According to Duffy Randall (2006), the
Sanskrit word mandala, meaning magic circle, circumference, and center, was first adopted by Swiss
psychiatrist, Carl Gustav Jung, to describe the drawings that he and his patients drew. Each of the
drawings within a mandala represent a connection to the artist, making every mandala unique.
Appendix #37, also known as mandala Me, Myself I , consist of the colours blue, red, yellow, black,
and white. Appendix #37 includes the images of a family of four, the Canadian flag, and a stairwell on
the clouds. This paper will identify three main values and beliefs, and their points of origin, followed
by clear and logical connections between self s values and beliefs and how they impact and influence
self as a nurse, the connection of each value/belief to appendix #37, and finally, the comprehensive
summary of the paper. A mandala is a form of art where one can learn and grow, while increasing one
s intellectual (Duffy Randall, 2006). The purpose of the self mandala reflective paper is to use the
drawings and images from the appendix #37 as visual representations of one s values and beliefs, in
order to consider the implications for self as a nurse.
Beliefs and Values
The Value of Family Growing up in a farming family meant that everyone s participation was needed,
which formed a tight connection within our family. Family members were respected and well cared

Civil Law vs Common Law
There are more than 200 nations in the world nowadays, and each has a different set of laws that
govern its people and its relations with the rest of the world. Whereas, international law governs
relations between states, institutions, and individuals across national boundaries, municipal law
governs this same person within the boundaries of a particular state. The comparative law, which is the
study, analysis, and comparison of the different municipal law systems, classifies countries into legal
families. The two widely distributed families are the Romano Germanic Civil Law and the Anglo
American Common Law.
This short essay seeks an answer to the differences between two fundamentally different legal theories
or systems. The original ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The French Code is an evaluate version of the Corpus Juris Civilis because it incorporated the
principle ideas of the French Revolution, including the right to possess private property, the freedom
to contract, and the autonomy of the patriarchal family. With private property, the Code s authors: J.J
Cambacérès and Napoléon consciously attempted to break the old feudal estates of the aristocracy by
prohibiting restraints on the sale of land. The French code joined one of the United State Constitution
mentioning that lawyers couldn t foresee every possible legal eventuality, thus they set flexible general
maxima of justice rather than detailed provisions.
Unlike the French Code The German Civil Code was meant for the use of trained experts. Indeed
because of the Pandectits, the German s Codes organization and form is incredibly precise and
technical. Sentence structure indicates which party had the burden of proof. However its overall
approach rely on many of the same political and philosophical ideals, notably the laisser faire
economics and the autonomous right of individuals. [5]
Moreover separated and apart from the movement of codification of civil or private law occurred the
development of the public law, a constitutional and administrative law.

Gatsby did not accept it and would cheat lie and kill to get what he wants.
Nick and Gatsby have similar traits they show throughout the novel. In the beginning of the book one

Foreshadowing In Marge Piercy s A Work Of Artifice
Looking at the title of Marge Piercy s A Work of Artifice, readers can break it down and sense the
foreshadowing. In the Oxford dictionary, artifice is defined as clever or cunning devices or expedients,
use to trick or deceive others. This foreshadows the deception that the writer exposes in the poem.
Piercy describes a global dilemma the the use of metaphor (a bonsai tree). A bonsai tree is an
ornamental tree or shrub grown in a pot and artificially prevented from reaching its normal size. Given
the opportunity, this tree could grow to enormous heights. Yet, it is trimmed by gardeners . This
metaphor of the tree compared to women s suppression and the gardener as the suppressor. Women
have been bound to domestic duties and Marge ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Readers are introduced to a bonsai tree in the attractive pot in the first two lines. Here metaphor is
established. The bonsai tree is being compared to the average woman. Like a bonsai tree, the average
woman can become a distinguished figure and meet her full potential. For fear that the tree were to
grow out of its pot, it may be alienated, it remains confined to its pot. A woman may feel inclined to
stick to societal expectations for fear of being detached from others. Consequently, inside the pot, no
woman or bonsai tree can grow to their fullest potential. Metaphorical use is also shown as Piercey
compares the gardener to society. Continuously, society tries to mold women into being domestic and
weak. The gardener is shown doing this as he carefully prunes and whittles back the branches. He is
only declining the progression of the bonsai tree as he creates his own vision for it. In the attempt to
be attractive, the potential of the tree is taken and it continues to watch their branches be pruned and
whittled away. Like this tree, women face the struggle to succeed in life while having societal
inequities pinned on their

Athletic Trainer Case Summary
Terrell did retire to a really nice retirement community. His decision to retire from his work as an
Athletic Trainer was largely based on his deteriorating health. His job had high physical demands,
whether it was carrying injured athletes off the field and always carrying heavy medical kits.
Especially with his arthiritis worsening, even performing simple tasks has become very difficult. He
was also facing some pressure to retire and he believed it was due to ageism, discrimination based on
age (pg. 412). His employers had less confidence in his competence and ability to carry out his job
considering he was very old. Eventhough, as people age their muscle fibers shrink thereby decreasing
strength, he exercised daily and was on healthy diet, which would slow down the decline (pg. 415). He
was very proactive in maintaining his shape and strength which was a requirement of his job, but his
health problems were dampening his efforts. Furthermore, he wanted to spend more time with his son
and grandchildren, who were just entering adolescence. And after, his wife s death, he has been unable
to cope with the loneliness and was seeking to connect with people who had similar experiences as he
had and believe he could find them in the retirement community. He felt he needed to have sense of
belonging in a community, where he would be able to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Essay about The Dragon Can t Dance by Earl Lovelace
The Dragon Can t Dance by Earl Lovelace The Dragon Can t Dance. The author,Earl Lovelace, allows
even the non indigenous reader to understand, to feel the physical and psychological realities of
poverty stricken Calvary Hill every sweet, twisting, hurting ache (p. 133) more intensely , more
completely, through his use of paradox. Indeed, oxymorons pepper the pages of his novel, challenging
our habits of thought and provoking us into seeking another sense or context in which these self
contradictions may be resolved into truths, truths that are clearly universal yet at the same time
inseparable from the combined colour and squalor of post World War II Trinidadian life.

rise fall of her buttocks, the tremulous up downing of her behind (p.151), will make him hurt for her,
for the taming of her (p. 152), for years to come.
Graduating from the physical, however, that up downing, drop rising (p. 152) of her bottom, Aldrick
will come to realize that her very desirability placed her above ordinary desiring (p. 229), the mere
ownership which Guy intends, and it is at carnival that he first glimpses the future that they might
share, how he might paradoxically lose himself and gain himself in her, swirling away with her until
together they disappeared into the self that she was calling back, calling forth (p. 141). Echoing the
Indian, Pariag, and Philo the Calypsonian, Aldrick begins to desire to simply live and love and grow,
which is exactly why he has always loved Sylvia: her beauty was not a weapon, but a declaration of a
faith in life and a promise of life (p. 228). He alone realizes the paradox that Sylvia is both illuminated
and doomed by that aura (p. 229) of inner sainted beauty which Guy threatens to suppress by
effectively sequestering her in a new home in Diego Martin.
Only through the use of paradox could Lovelace convey the full range of emotion between Sylvia and
Aldrick, who both realize early on the spirituality of their love that blossomed like a mango rose
against the unmitigating

The Invention Of The Automobile Industry
The automobile industry is said to have its beginnings dating to the 19th century. Gottieb Daimler and
Wilhelm Maybach, of Germany, fitted their engine into a stagecoach in 1886 (Kindersley, 2011, 10).
They were both successful at creating the first four wheeled, gas engine vehicle. It reached a top speed
of ten miles per hour. Each engine was still being fitted into stagecoaches (Kindersley, 2011, 10). The
industrial revolution introduced a wide array of new ideas for the automobile. The ideas ranged from
air cooled engines, single cylinder engines, steam powered engines, electric cars, to a vehicle with a
sliding gear transmission (Kindersley, 11, 2011). Other ideas included overhead cam engines, and the
introduction of the gearbox.
One ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For the industry this became only the beginning. Many other innovative designs to the engine that
were introduced during this time are still in use today. In 1926, both Daimler Mercedes merged to
become Daimler Benz AG. This was as a result of the recession during that time which forced many
companies into joint ventures. Their cars were marketed under the name of Mercedes Benz.
During the 1930 s, the world was gripped by the second World War which saw the industry, especially
in Germany, being used to support ongoing war efforts again. The cars of Mercedes were adored by
the Third Reich and the cars were being used by motor racing as well (Kindersley,15, 2011). This
enabled the company more exposure later on. The 1930 s were hailed as a time of great challenge
especially with the onslaught of The Great Depression.
The world was met by the introduction of the station wagon and pick up truck in the 1940 s. The
station wagon was a reintroduced Land Rover, . . . the Land Rover s wider appeal led to demand for a
more civilized vehicle the 7 seater Station Wagon fulfilled that brief, (Kindersley,113, 2011). The
station wagon was designed as a working vehicle and that could carry a lot of people. The pick up
truck was unveiled by The Ford Motor Company and named The F Series. This became most

Physics of Electric Guitars Essay
Introduction
More than any other instrument, the electric guitar has shaped and redefined music in the last century.
Although popular culture did not pay much attention to it when it was first introduced in the 1930s, it
has since become equated with the very essence of rock and roll music. On an international level, the
electric guitar is by far the most famous instrument to come out of the United States
(howstuffworks.com).
Background
Inventors have been playing with the idea of electrically powered musical instruments since the 1800s,
but the first attempts at an amplified instrument did not come until the development of electrical
amplification by the radio industry in the 1920s.

* The vibrations of the strings can be quantified and calculated according to basic laws in physics.
These include certain relationships between velocity, wavelength, and frequency and equations that
describe the motion of a string fixed at both ends.
How Pick Ups Work:
Electric guitar pick ups work by employing principles of magnetic induction. The pick ups are
composed of small electromagnets (magnets that are wrapped with a coil of wire, thus allowing an
electric current to flow through them). Because of their close proximity to the strings, these magnets
induce a north and south pole on the strings. When the string is played, it begins to oscillate, or move
in a wave like fashion. This affects the field surrounding the pick up and causes a change in the
magnetic field. These changes, or fluctuations in the magnetic field are transmitted through the wires
connecting the pick up(s) to the output jack and are thus relayed to the amplifier where they are sent to
the speaker and converted from electrical energy once again into motion energy (sound). (Brain, n.p.)
Electromagnets can turn electrical energy into motion. Likewise the converse is true: they can turn
motion into electrical energy.
Such is the case with electric guitar pick ups.
Waves on a String:
A guitar string is an example of a string fixed at both ends which is elastic and can vibrate.

Reducing Carbon Footprint At the Coca Cola Company, packaging plays an imperative function to the
business in reaching customer demands and avoiding waste by securing the products during delivery.
To make a boost in development, they are approaching sustainable packaging, new ideas include
resource reduction, recyclability, using more recycled and renewable supplies, and getting consumers
to take part in this beneficial campaign. Research demonstrates that easier access to recycling bins is
an indispensable component that expands restoration of recyclables in communities. As a result, Coca
Cola pushed to supply several thousands of bins in neighborhood, annually. They also invest in bottle
to bottle recycling plants around the globe. Coca Cola is working towards progressing their own
sustainability initiatives in their product s packaging. In order to obtain this goal they have ideas to use
less material, make packaging 100% recyclable, and increase renewable material in their packaging.
After collaborating as a team, they came up with the ambitions of working with partners to restore and
recycle 75% of the cans and bottles developed by 2020. So far Coca Cola s progress is predicted to be
on track, with an estimated 61% bottle and can renovation. Consequently, Coca Cola made a shorter
term goal as well, aiming to recycle 50% of bottles and cans

Photodynamic Therapy
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a form of phototherapy that consists of 3 main components;
photosensitizers (light sensitive molecules), light and oxygen. Currently, PDT is being used as a
treatment modality for a variety of specific tumours, skin diseases, and precancerous and non
cancerous diseases . The minimally invasive and localised treatment utilize components that are non
toxic when used independently. The effects of PDT include damage to tumour vasculature, direct
killing of tumour cells via cytotoxic activity, and inducing an antitumor reaction. When the
photosensitizers are administered, there is a preferential uptake of photosensitizers by malignant

Strand Breaks
DNA Double Strand Breaks (DSBs) are valuable when controlled, but potentially fatal when not the
programmed DSB is an essential part of particular cellular processes (e.g. VDJ switch recombination
during immune system development and during homologous recombination in meiosis and mitosis),
but an unprogrammed DSB is also considered the most lethal type of lesion for a cell (Sedelnikova et
al., 2003). Cells are confronted with DNA damage due to a variety of stimuli under normal
physiological conditions and at each instance the cell must make a decision concerning the ratio of
DNA repair and apoptotic response (Cook et al., 2009). This response entails firstly the detection of
DNA damage among the undamaged DNA, and secondly a signal amplification ... Show more content

These structural rearrangements require the formation and repair of DSBs, and therefore great
amounts of γH2AX phosphoryliosis appears in adult germ cells (Blanko Rodriguez, 2009). In mouse

XY body formation) during pachytene (Mahadevaiah et al., 2001), in intermediate and B
spermatogonia, as well as in homogeneous nuclear staining in A spermatogonia and round spermatids
(Hamer et al., 2003). More recently, using techniques that disrupt the cell cell structure, the presence
of γH2AX foci was found in mouse metaphase spermatogonia (Forand et al., 2004) and was linked
with the lateral elements of the synaptonemal complex in the early pachytene stage in human oocytes

addition, γH2AX was also detected in elongating spermatids of these animals, where it is associated
with DSBs during chromatin remodeling (Cabrero et al., 2007). Blanko Rodriguez (2009) also showed
that H2AX phosphorylation hits the highest point at several mitotic and meiotic phases of
spermatogonia and spermatocytes, as well as during spermatid

Use Of Allegory In Dante Inferno
In Dante Alighieri The Divine Comedy, Dante uses powerful imagery and goes into immense detail on
a journey to the afterlife. Dante uses a lot of well written imagery to make his story seem more
relatable and real, to scare his readers into believing that you need only turn to God for the forgiveness
of sin. At the beginning of the story, Dante is walking in the woods in darkness feeling sad and not
right with God, after this Dante see a mountain and tries to go up but he is blocked by three beasts
which represent sin. Most everything in this story is an allegory, he means two things, literal and
figurative meaning. I came to a place stripped bare of every light and roaring on naked dark like seas
wracked by a war of winds (Canto 5 inferno), this when Dante goes into the second circle of hell and
watches as the lustful are swirl around in this never ending storm of lust. Dante is using this point of
view to try and give a realistic vibe to the readers. He talks to Francesca and Paolo two lovers who
were murdered after found having affair against Francesca husband Giovanni Malatesta. After talking
to them Dante is starting to get a sense of how real his journey is, he is feeling overwhelmed Dante
falls to the ground and pass is out. And while one spirit Francesca said these words to me, the other
Paolo wept, so that, because of pity, I fainted, as if I had met my death. And then I fell as a dead body

Dog Whistling Is A Term Used By Politicians
Dog Whistle Politics is a term used by politicians to persuade the people by gaining their votes into a
political position of power. Dog Whistling has been used for years by politicians to achieve what they
want while campaigning for public offices. Politicians have been maneuvering and scheming for years
during elections for the peoples vote. They have always put on a show for the people just to receive
their vote. They set their sights on an office of public position and they begin a long and hard working
race to gain votes. Dog whistling is just a different way for them to use codes or demonstrate to
certain people to what they are really trying to say. Politicians portray a good and upright demeanor. It
s part of their job. During their campaign for a specific position, they make promises to the people,
they put time into well thought out and written speeches, they research every city and the population
during the campaign tour and it is all to persuade the vast majority of people for their vote. It deals
with race as well. Dog Whistling and racism seem to go hand in hand because it s dealing with race.
Racism has been in politics for years. Dog Whistling is just a word used to speak to a certain group of
people in code. Racism is still imbedded in us as people because we cannot treat each other equal.
Some politicians use Dog Whistling as a way to speak to the mass of racism that is still current in
today s society. The author in this book uses Dog Whistle Politics

Annotated Bibliography On Database Encryption
1. INTRODUCTION Database Encryption is one of the technique used for securing the data in
database. This method transforms information on a computer in such a way that it becomes
unreadable. So, even if someone is able to gain access to a computer with personal data on it, they
likely won t be able to do anything with the data unless they have original data key, complicated or
expensive software. The main function of encryption is essentially to translate normal text into cipher
text. Encryption makes sure that data doesn t get read by the wrong people, but can also ensure that
data isn t altered in transit, and verify the identity of the sender. Data Encryption method typically uses
a specified parameter or key to perform the data transformation. Some encryption algorithms require
the key to be the same length as the message to be encoded, yet other encryption algorithms can
operate on much smaller keys relative to the message. Encryption is most used among transactions
over insecure channels of communication, such as the internet. Encryption is also used to protect data
being transferred between devices such as mobile telephones, automatic teller machines (ATMs), and
many more. Encryption can be used to create digital signatures, which allow a message to be
authenticated. When properly implemented, a digital signature gives the recipient of a message reason
to believe the message was sent by the claimed sender. 2. THREATS TO DATABASE 2.1 Database

built up and stayed in fish, and it thinned the shells of birds that ate the fish. The most common birds

refrigerants, propellants, and the cleaning solvents. It turned out that they went up into the atmosphere
and destroyed the ozone that protects humans from the sun s radiation. The use of these developments
were reduced significantly and DDT was banned (Union of Concerned Scientists 1). For the first time

genetically modified foods are threatening to human health. The biotech industry says that the Food

The Use Of Corporal Punishment The Lad
Hardman is indeed one of those lads who doesn t realise just how far they push things inappropriately.
If this isn t addressed, then the lad will end up in some serious trouble. Staff Wilding knows that he
needs to steer the lad back onto the straight and narrow and that the only way to do this, is to
administer a very serious dose of pain. With game, hard lads like young Hardman, the only real
solution is to make sure every dose of Corporal Punishment the lad gets is so severe that the amount
and intensity of pain that is administered to his buttocks makes the lad toe the line, for fear of how bad
it will be if he needs another dose. Lads like young Hardman will always present a challenge to any

There should always be a general level of fear of punishment when dealing with lads and men it is
ultimately the only way to keep them in line and focussed on going forward in the right direction. It
also brings out the best in proper lads and men because they grow through endurance in
adversity. Fear of a punishment is indeed fundamental to the success of a lad s
punishment regime. As you say, that fear needs to be high enough to make him change his ways and
want to avoid being punished. The greater a lad s suffering, the better it is for him, as it both addresses
the atonement element and also makes him want to avoid that level of suffering again. Plus, I couldn t
agree more, that the greater the challenge that the lad has to overcome, because he s enduring pain at
levels that he s never experienced before, the better and stronger that the lad will be when he gets
through it.  Staff Wilding is a hard and resolute man, who knows that it will ultimately
do the lad good, even though he will suffer greatly in the process. But it has to be done and this really

think about what he has done to deserve it and what he needs to do to avoid another taste of the Army

The Importance Of Gender Socialization
The hard sciences (science, technology, engineering, and math) are important to the advancements of a
country because they encourage the development of new and creative progress that can keep their
country sharp, and a force to be reckoned with, which gives them power. Although STEM fields are
crucial for countries to get ahead, there is a societal belief in America, that women are less capable
and less qualified then men in these fields. It appears that this societal belief has led to a gender gap in
STEM courses and careers between men and women. The lack of women in these fields could be
hindering our countries advancements.
Sociologists have studied this topic extensively and most theorist focus on gender socialization to

The two main common goals that researchers focus on under the Role Congruity Theory are family
related goals and that women tend to prefer occupations that help others (Barth 2015: 503). As for
agentic goals, prestige and financial success are valued more by men than women (Barth 2015: 503).
Researchers tend to believe that this very well could account for the gender gap in STEM fields.
Embeddedness Theory explains three different factors, Fit, Link, and Sacrifice, to analyze why men
and women whoa are in STEM majors remain in STEM fields. Fit is the extent to which an individual
perceives that his or her abilities match requirements of the job, organization, or occupation and the
extent to which associated rewards are viewed as desirable (Morganson 2015: 350). The factor Links
refers to Links refers to the extent to which an individual has ties to other people and activities in the
job, organization, or occupation (Morganson 2015: 350). Lastly sacrifice is the extent to which losses,
including sunk costs, would be incurred by leaving one s job, organization, or occupation (Morganson
2015: 530)

From polytheism to idol worship, there are countless differences between folk religions and
Protestantism. Some folk religions abandon organized services and belief in a god altogether. Some

through understanding and being respectful of its adherents, Christians can effectively witness to
followers of folk religions. According to Carlos Martin, many followers of folk religions have not yet

The Islands Of Cape Verde

The islands of Cape Verde were exposed and colonized by the Portuguese in the 15th century. Cape

which is a one party system that was established in the 1990. Cape Verde also remains to exhibit one
of Africa s greatest steady democratic governments. Recurrent droughts in the 20th century caused

report is to provide evidence for city managers to deal with the campus crime. The analysis indicates
that city managers should carry out a more effective program for private schools to protect students
from campus crime, and schools should limit the number of admin staff in order to address the issue of

database to which crime statistics and fire statistics (as of the 2010 data collection) are submitted
annually, via a web based data collection, by all postsecondary institutions that receive Title IV
funding (i.e., those that participate in federal student aid programs) . The key variables are based on
different universities in United States. Each university has different acceptance rate, campus size, the
number of admin staff. Additionally, the data concludes both private and public schools. Also whether
the school is located in the urban area is counted in this dataset as well. The measurement of those
variables is well defined interval, which is taken annually. Analysis In this report, the main concern is
about the annual number of burglary on campus. Then we collected the number of burglary in
different schools in the year of 2010 and 2011. In the first analysis, three independent variables are
measured. The first is the acceptance rate, and the second is the campus size. The last one is private,

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Integrated Circuits
INTRODUCTION TO VLSI
Very large scale integration (VLSI) is the process of creating integrated circuits by combining
thousands of transistor based circuits into a single chip. VLSI began in the 1970s when complex
semiconductor and communication technologies were being developed. The microprocessor is a VLSI
device. The term is no longer as common as it once was, as chips have increased in complexity into
the hundreds of millions of transistors.
Overview
The first semiconductor chips held one transistor each. Subsequent advances added more and more
transistors, and, as a consequence, more individual functions or systems were integrated over time.
The first integrated circuits held only a few devices, perhaps as many as ten diodes, transistors,
resistors and capacitors, making it possible to fabricate one or ... Show more content on

Integrated circuits improve system characteristics in several critical ways. ICs have three key
advantages over digital circuits built from discrete components: Size. Integrated circuits are much
smaller both transistors and wires are shrunk to micrometer sizes, compared to the millimeter or
centimeter scales of discrete components. Small size leads to advantages in speed and power
consumption, since smaller components have smaller parasitic resistances, capacitances, and
inductances. Speed. Signals can be switched between logic 0 and logic 1 much quicker within a chip
than they can between chips. Communication within a chip can occur hundreds of times faster than
communication between chips on a printed circuit board. The high speed of circuits on chip is due to
their small size smaller components and wires have smaller parasitic capacitances to slow down the

Livy s Greed In Rome
From the beginning, Rome has made it known that they are a force to be reckoned with. It is a state
built upon lust, treachery and deceit, but most importantly Rome is founded on the power struggle and
overwhelming amount of greed that inhabits every roman that follows its legacy. Livy makes it clear
to his audience that the Roman soldiers are a force to be reckoned with, even from their earliest
beginnings. Through his tellings of the story of Romulus and Remus, and the Rape and Theft of the
Sabine women, Livy also details the ruthlessness that this greed entails, by quite explicit means. The
first story that Livy introduces sets the scene for Rome, as we are shown the two founding brothers:

Langston Hughes Untold Truths About The American Revolution
Langston Hughes wrote a story about his memory of getting saved during a revival service at his aunt
s church. Howard Zinn wrote about a much broader topic, the American Revolution. On the surface,
these two readings don t seem to have anything in common. However, both stories focus on the theme
of bullying and have other similarities. The differences between the stories are more important than
the similarities. Overall, Salvation is a more believable story of bullying, but Untold Truths About the
American Revolution seems to be Zinn s rewrite of events leading to the war.
Langston Hughes s personal narrative and Howard Zinn s essay are comparable in several ways. Since

The most obvious contrast is the point of view in which each story is told. Hughes s story is written in
first person while Zinn s essay is written in third person. The reader can feel what Hughes experienced
personally while reading the story whereas the anger Zinn is conveying in his article is about an issue
he had no stake in. This difference is important because Hughes didn t just choose to make up a story
and tell it in first person. He went through what he wrote about, but Zinn wrote about something that
happened over two hundred years ago. The bullies in Salvation were people who knew each other
personally in contrast to the large groups of people in Untold Truths About the American Revolution.
Hughes s bullies were his aunt, the preacher, and other grownups, people he had been raised to trust.
He wrote, I had heard a great many old people say the same thing and it seemed to me they ought to
know (7). Zinn stereotypes all of the Founding Fathers and rich men as bullies. The victims in both
stories also differ. Langston and the other children in his church were victims, so they had even less
power than the poor men, slaves, and Indians who Zinn believes were the victims in Untold Truths
About the American Revolution. The end results also vary from each other. On one hand Hughes did
not believe in Jesus anymore, and he felt disappointed in himself; another result in Salvation could be
that Langston might have become distrustful of religion and/or authority figures. While on the other
hand Zinn thinks not everyone benefited from war, and we might have fought a war that did not need
to be fought. Zinn even has several sections on how each group did not benefit from the war. A result
of the Revolution that Zinn did not highlight was that the colonists definitely won their independence.
Finally the blame in both stories is different. Even though the bullies made

Relationship Driven
B2B vs. B2C Marketing
Business to business (B2B) is a term used to describe transactions of goods or services between
businesses as opposed to business to consumer (B2C) which describes activities of commercial
organizations serving end customers with products and/or services. B2B and B2C marketing is
different. There are profound differences that a business must remember when developing marketing
activities.
Although the marketing programs are the same for each type of business (events, direct marketing,
internet marketing, advertising, public relations, word of mouth, and alliances), how they are
executed, what they say, and the outcome of the marketing activities differ (Murphy, 2007). The

If a B2B company can provide a quality product or service, even if the price is higher than the
competition a customer will be willing to pay, provided there is a perceived value in what is being

delivery, and quality.
In conclusion, marketing for B2B and B2C markets are quite different. While marketing programs are
the same, how they are executed, what they say, and the outcome of the marketing activities differ.
B2B marketing is relationship driven while B2C marketing is more product driven. The market size
also varies between B2B and B2C markets. B2B markets are measured in the thousands while B2C
markets are measured in the millions. Not only is the market different in B2B and B2C but so is the
buyer. The business buyer understands the products or services and needs to buy the products or
services to help the company to stay profitable, competitive, and successful. Therefore, B2B
marketing must be more complex. Consumer buyers are looking for the best price and trust within the
company and products. Therefore, B2C marketing needs to convince customer of their trust and
loyalty. Brand building is also important in both B2B and B2C marketing but for different reasons. In
B2B markets brand will only help a business be considered, not necessarily chosen. In B2C

Visual agnosia is the ability to see an image and store it, but there is an impairment in visually

prosopagnosia (the inability to recognize faces), achromatopsia (the inability to distinguish different

The Cherokees practiced a variety of crafts, including basketwork and stamped pottery. They also
carved, out of woods and gourds, masks representing good and evil spirits. These masks were used
during their many hunting, agricultural and healing rituals. They held these ceremonies at key times of
the year, such as harvest time.
Each village was run by two chiefs. The White Chief, or Most Beloved Man helped the villagers make
decisions concerning farming, lawmaking, and disputes between individuals, families, or clans. He
also played a large role in religious ceremonies. The Red Chief gave advice concerning warfare. One
such decision was choosing who would be the War Woman, an honored woman chosen to accompany
braves on their war parties. The War Woman did not fight, but helped feed the men, offered them
council, and decided which prisoners would live or die. The Red Chief was also in charge of the
lacrosse games which were called
quot;little wars. quot; Lacrosse was played within tribes and against other tribes. It is one of the first
known friendly competitions between Indian tribes.

cultures.

The Theme Of Religion In Hamlet
Hamlet by William Shakespeare, in the Elizabethan Era, is a play that is expressed with many themes.
Hamlet, the main character, battles with the tragic death of his father and the marriage of his mother
and uncle. Hamlet is then approached by a ghost that closely resembles his father and reveals the
murder of the late king. He then goes on a quest for revenge, hesitating at every turn and pretending to
have gone mad. He spends time rejecting the love of Ophelia until her untimely death. At that time he
then goes to duel her brother, of whom he is jealous, in a fencing match. There the intentions of the
characters are revealed in the death of Laertes, Gertrude, Hamlet, and Claudius. Throughout the play
religion takes a big part in the decisions of the characters along with their faith. In the 1500s to 1600s
religion practices were an enormous issue leading to the deaths of many. These events happened in the

Elsinore, Claudius had taken to the traditions of drinking and the firing of cannons. A tradition of
which Hamlet had not cared for; the way Martin Luther did not care for the teaching of the Catholic
Church. They both felt as if other things were more appropriate. The people of Europe followed the
teaching of the Catholic Church and the bible. They chose their actions and feelings based on those
faith. They took to buying indulgences in the belief that they would spend less time in purgatory.
Hamlet also shared that ideology of purgatory. His beliefs are confirmed when he meets the ghost of

His desire to mend his ways was brought about Through no disturbance of my soul,/ Or strong

abstract concept exemplifies the willful internality of the poet s decision. This internality leads the
poet to supplicate for thy control, an act that shifts the poem into the religious territory of reverence.
Indeed, Wordsworth subtly raises his travel conceit from the earth to the heavens. In the quietness of
thought, a time that is often reserved for prayer, he decides that Me this unchartered freedom tires;/ I
feel the weight of chance desires (37 8). The unmapped liberalism of random urges weighs him down

craving for a repose that ever is the same, a constancy that may, in the future, hold for him a blissful
course, is made salient in the comparison to stars, long regarded as shapers of destiny (40, 21). The
repose here means sleep, whereas in the fourth stanza reposed my trust means

Medical Procedures During The Nazi Rule
Medical Procedures During the Nazi Rule
During the Nazi Party s rise to power, it held a strong influence on not only the German people, but as
well as all of conquered Europe. It was able to coerce regular citizens into joining one of the most
destructive genocides recorded in history by turning them into antisemites, and, in some regards,
murderers. It is important to learn from history about the power a government has over the influence
of their citizens, particularly in the field of medicine. The main purpose of this paper is to describe the
Nazi party s role in the development and research German medicine, specifically on: the physicians,
that became loyal to the state rather than their patients; eugenics, in which the goal was to spawn a
master race ; human experimentation, which was done on whoever the state deemed undesirable; and,
finally, racial purification, the elimination of individuals that the state believed lead a life unworthy of
life .This paper does not note all of the experiments, victims, perpetrators involved or the locations in
which the medical atrocities were carried out. It will focus mainly on the idea of racial purification,
specifically in Auschwitz Birkenau, the main extermination camp, providing the accounts of several
victims that were subject to the medical experiments, and addressing the medical community,
specifically Dr. Josef Mengele, as perpetrators of the genocide of millions of people.

  • 2. The Kmer Rouge Genocide History always repeats itself. From world wars to economic slumps and even genocides, there is always evil and corruption present where the goal is to obtain power. In order to claim power, evil must oppress the innocent, even if the innocent attempts to break loose, evil continues to push down. An example of evil s oppression is the genocide that occurred in the 1970 s. A communist group known as the Khmer Rouge invaded Cambodia to transform its society into a communist agrarian society (Cambodian Genocide). The Khmer Rouge believed that all Cambodians must work as one huge federation of collective farmers. Anyone who opposed this was killed. If anyone questioned what the Khmer Rouge was doing, didn t work or showed any emotion, they were killed. The Khmer Rouge wanted equality among the people. The Khmer Rouge also questioned its own members, and frequently executed members for suspicions of treason. Survival in Cambodia was determined by one s ability to work. Therefore, Cambodia s elderly, handicapped, ill, and children suffered. If someone wore glasses, they were considered an intellectual who would cause trouble and therefore was killed. If they had a watch, they were considered wealthy and killed (McCormick). Before that in 1934, a rival to Stalin, Sergey Kirov, was murdered. Stalin was accused of being behind the assassination, and he used this as an excuse to arrest thousands of people. Who, in his words, could have been responsible for Kirov s murder ... • 3. The Ethical Theories Of The Ethics There are eight major ethical theories the ones that were focused on in the video were deontological and utilitarian. The deontological theory is the sense of obligation, that someone feels that it their morally duty to do the right thing. The utilitarian theory is that people act and behave so that they will produce happiness for the greatest number of people. These two different ethical theories are ways that people behave and think is morally correct. In the video the professor talked about the two ethical theories and how the choices that people make can connect to these two theories. The professor said that the utilitarian theory mantra is that good makes something right, and that these people are results oriented. The deontological theory mantra is that right makes something good, and that these people are motive oriented. The big question is what is the morally right thing to do? consequential moral reasoning says that someone should not kill an innocent person to say others. I think people should always try to avoid hurting other people, but if you could save five people and only one person die, would you do it? For example in the first situation where there are two ways the train can go with workers on it, with no brakes, and it can either hit five workers and save the one, or save five, and kill one worker by going down another track. The train driver has to decide quickly what to choose. Either way someone has to die, should it be five people or one? I ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Examples Of Unlocking Self-Values And Beliefs As A Nursing... Unlocking Self Values and Beliefs as a Nursing Student According to Duffy Randall (2006), the Sanskrit word mandala, meaning magic circle, circumference, and center, was first adopted by Swiss psychiatrist, Carl Gustav Jung, to describe the drawings that he and his patients drew. Each of the drawings within a mandala represent a connection to the artist, making every mandala unique. Appendix #37, also known as mandala Me, Myself I , consist of the colours blue, red, yellow, black, and white. Appendix #37 includes the images of a family of four, the Canadian flag, and a stairwell on the clouds. This paper will identify three main values and beliefs, and their points of origin, followed by clear and logical connections between self s values and beliefs and how they impact and influence self as a nurse, the connection of each value/belief to appendix #37, and finally, the comprehensive summary of the paper. A mandala is a form of art where one can learn and grow, while increasing one s intellectual (Duffy Randall, 2006). The purpose of the self mandala reflective paper is to use the drawings and images from the appendix #37 as visual representations of one s values and beliefs, in order to consider the implications for self as a nurse. Beliefs and Values The Value of Family Growing up in a farming family meant that everyone s participation was needed, which formed a tight connection within our family. Family members were respected and well cared for. The men would cut ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Civil Law vs Common Law There are more than 200 nations in the world nowadays, and each has a different set of laws that govern its people and its relations with the rest of the world. Whereas, international law governs relations between states, institutions, and individuals across national boundaries, municipal law governs this same person within the boundaries of a particular state. The comparative law, which is the study, analysis, and comparison of the different municipal law systems, classifies countries into legal families. The two widely distributed families are the Romano Germanic Civil Law and the Anglo American Common Law. This short essay seeks an answer to the differences between two fundamentally different legal theories or systems. The original ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The French Code is an evaluate version of the Corpus Juris Civilis because it incorporated the principle ideas of the French Revolution, including the right to possess private property, the freedom to contract, and the autonomy of the patriarchal family. With private property, the Code s authors: J.J Cambacérès and Napoléon consciously attempted to break the old feudal estates of the aristocracy by prohibiting restraints on the sale of land. The French code joined one of the United State Constitution mentioning that lawyers couldn t foresee every possible legal eventuality, thus they set flexible general maxima of justice rather than detailed provisions. Unlike the French Code The German Civil Code was meant for the use of trained experts. Indeed because of the Pandectits, the German s Codes organization and form is incredibly precise and technical. Sentence structure indicates which party had the burden of proof. However its overall approach rely on many of the same political and philosophical ideals, notably the laisser faire economics and the autonomous right of individuals. In the Oxford dictionary, artifice is defined as clever or cunning devices or expedients, use to trick or deceive others. This foreshadows the deception that the writer exposes in the poem. For fear that the tree were to grow out of its pot, it may be alienated, it remains confined to its pot. A woman may feel inclined to stick to societal expectations for fear of being detached from others. Consequently, inside the pot, no woman or bonsai tree can grow to their fullest potential. Metaphorical use is also shown as Piercey compares the gardener to society. Continuously, society tries to mold women into being domestic and weak. The gardener is shown doing this as he carefully prunes and whittles back the branches. He is only declining the progression of the bonsai tree as he creates his own vision for it. In the attempt to be attractive, the potential of the tree is taken and it continues to watch their branches be pruned and whittled away. Like this tree, women face the struggle to succeed in life while having societal inequities pinned on their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

His decision to retire from his work as an Athletic Trainer was largely based on his deteriorating health. His job had high physical demands, whether it was carrying injured athletes off the field and always carrying heavy medical kits. Especially with his arthiritis worsening, even performing simple tasks has become very difficult. He was also facing some pressure to retire and he believed it was due to ageism, discrimination based on age (pg. 412). His employers had less confidence in his competence and ability to carry out his job considering he was very old. Eventhough, as people age their muscle fibers shrink thereby decreasing strength, he exercised daily and was on healthy diet, which would slow down the decline (pg. 415). He was very proactive in maintaining his shape and strength which was a requirement of his job, but his health problems were dampening his efforts. Graduating from the physical, however, that up downing, drop rising (p. 152) of her bottom, Aldrick will come to realize that her very desirability placed her above ordinary desiring (p. 229), the mere ownership which Guy intends, and it is at carnival that he first glimpses the future that they might share, how he might paradoxically lose himself and gain himself in her, swirling away with her until together they disappeared into the self that she was calling back, calling forth (p. 141). Echoing the Indian, Pariag, and Philo the Calypsonian, Aldrick begins to desire to simply live and love and grow, which is exactly why he has always loved Sylvia: her beauty was not a weapon, but a declaration of a faith in life and a promise of life (p. 228). He alone realizes the paradox that Sylvia is both illuminated and doomed by that aura (p. 229) of inner sainted beauty which Guy threatens to suppress by effectively sequestering her in a new home in Diego Martin. • 10. The Invention Of The Automobile Industry The automobile industry is said to have its beginnings dating to the 19th century. Gottieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach, of Germany, fitted their engine into a stagecoach in 1886 (Kindersley, 2011, 10). They were both successful at creating the first four wheeled, gas engine vehicle. It reached a top speed of ten miles per hour. Each engine was still being fitted into stagecoaches (Kindersley, 2011, 10). The industrial revolution introduced a wide array of new ideas for the automobile. The ideas ranged from air cooled engines, single cylinder engines, steam powered engines, electric cars, to a vehicle with a sliding gear transmission (Kindersley, 11, 2011). Other ideas included overhead cam engines, and the introduction of the gearbox. One ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For the industry this became only the beginning. During the 1930 s, the world was gripped by the second World War which saw the industry, especially in Germany, being used to support ongoing war efforts again. The cars of Mercedes were adored by the Third Reich and the cars were being used by motor racing as well (Kindersley,15, 2011). This enabled the company more exposure later on. These include certain relationships between velocity, wavelength, and frequency and equations that describe the motion of a string fixed at both ends. How Pick Ups Work: Electric guitar pick ups work by employing principles of magnetic induction. The pick ups are composed of small electromagnets (magnets that are wrapped with a coil of wire, thus allowing an electric current to flow through them). Because of their close proximity to the strings, these magnets induce a north and south pole on the strings. When the string is played, it begins to oscillate, or move in a wave like fashion. This affects the field surrounding the pick up and causes a change in the magnetic field. These changes, or fluctuations in the magnetic field are transmitted through the wires connecting the pick up(s) to the output jack and are thus relayed to the amplifier where they are sent to the speaker and converted from electrical energy once again into motion energy (sound). (Brain, n.p.) Electromagnets can turn electrical energy into motion. Likewise the converse is true: they can turn motion into electrical energy. Such is the case with electric guitar pick ups. Waves on a String: A guitar string is an example of a string fixed at both ends which is elastic and can vibrate.

Strand Breaks DNA Double Strand Breaks (DSBs) are valuable when controlled, but potentially fatal when not the programmed DSB is an essential part of particular cellular processes (e.g. VDJ switch recombination during immune system development and during homologous recombination in meiosis and mitosis), but an unprogrammed DSB is also considered the most lethal type of lesion for a cell (Sedelnikova et al., 2003). Cells are confronted with DNA damage due to a variety of stimuli under normal physiological conditions and at each instance the cell must make a decision concerning the ratio of DNA repair and apoptotic response (Cook et al., 2009). Dante uses a lot of well written imagery to make his story seem more relatable and real, to scare his readers into believing that you need only turn to God for the forgiveness of sin. At the beginning of the story, Dante is walking in the woods in darkness feeling sad and not right with God, after this Dante see a mountain and tries to go up but he is blocked by three beasts which represent sin. Most everything in this story is an allegory, he means two things, literal and figurative meaning. • 19. Annotated Bibliography On Database Encryption 1. INTRODUCTION Database Encryption is one of the technique used for securing the data in database. This method transforms information on a computer in such a way that it becomes unreadable. So, even if someone is able to gain access to a computer with personal data on it, they likely won t be able to do anything with the data unless they have original data key, complicated or expensive software. The main function of encryption is essentially to translate normal text into cipher text. Encryption makes sure that data doesn t get read by the wrong people, but can also ensure that data isn t altered in transit, and verify the identity of the sender. Data Encryption method typically uses a specified parameter or key to perform the data transformation. Some encryption algorithms require the key to be the same length as the message to be encoded, yet other encryption algorithms can operate on much smaller keys relative to the message. Encryption is most used among transactions over insecure channels of communication, such as the internet. Encryption is also used to protect data being transferred between devices such as mobile telephones, automatic teller machines (ATMs), and many more. Encryption can be used to create digital signatures, which allow a message to be authenticated. When properly implemented, a digital signature gives the recipient of a message reason to believe the message was sent by the claimed sender. 2. THREATS TO DATABASE 2.1 Database Databases are the ... • 30. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Integrated Circuits INTRODUCTION TO VLSI Very large scale integration (VLSI) is the process of creating integrated circuits by combining thousands of transistor based circuits into a single chip. VLSI began in the 1970s when complex semiconductor and communication technologies were being developed. The microprocessor is a VLSI device. The term is no longer as common as it once was, as chips have increased in complexity into the hundreds of millions of transistors. Overview The first semiconductor chips held one transistor each. Subsequent advances added more and more transistors, and, as a consequence, more individual functions or systems were integrated over time. The first integrated circuits held only a few devices, perhaps as many as ten diodes, transistors, resistors and capacitors, making it possible to fabricate one or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Integrated circuits improve system characteristics in several critical ways. ICs have three key advantages over digital circuits built from discrete components: Size. Integrated circuits are much smaller both transistors and wires are shrunk to micrometer sizes, compared to the millimeter or centimeter scales of discrete components. Small size leads to advantages in speed and power consumption, since smaller components have smaller parasitic resistances, capacitances, and inductances. Speed. Signals can be switched between logic 0 and logic 1 much quicker within a chip than they can between chips. Communication within a chip can occur hundreds of times faster than communication between chips on a printed circuit board. • 31. Livy s Greed In Rome From the beginning, Rome has made it known that they are a force to be reckoned with. It is a state built upon lust, treachery and deceit, but most importantly Rome is founded on the power struggle and overwhelming amount of greed that inhabits every roman that follows its legacy. Livy makes it clear to his audience that the Roman soldiers are a force to be reckoned with, even from their earliest beginnings. Through his tellings of the story of Romulus and Remus, and the Rape and Theft of the Sabine women, Livy also details the ruthlessness that this greed entails, by quite explicit means. The first story that Livy introduces sets the scene for Rome, as we are shown the two founding brothers: Romulus and Remus. It starts out simple enough, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. Langston Hughes Untold Truths About The American Revolution Langston Hughes wrote a story about his memory of getting saved during a revival service at his aunt s church. Howard Zinn wrote about a much broader topic, the American Revolution. On the surface, these two readings don t seem to have anything in common. However, both stories focus on the theme of bullying and have other similarities. The differences between the stories are more important than the similarities. Overall, Salvation is a more believable story of bullying, but Untold Truths About the American Revolution seems to be Zinn s rewrite of events leading to the war. Langston Hughes s personal narrative and Howard Zinn s essay are comparable in several ways. Since the bullies are more powerful than their victims in both stories, they ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The most obvious contrast is the point of view in which each story is told. Hughes s story is written in first person while Zinn s essay is written in third person. The reader can feel what Hughes experienced personally while reading the story whereas the anger Zinn is conveying in his article is about an issue he had no stake in. This difference is important because Hughes didn t just choose to make up a story and tell it in first person. He went through what he wrote about, but Zinn wrote about something that happened over two hundred years ago. The bullies in Salvation were people who knew each other personally in contrast to the large groups of people in Untold Truths About the American Revolution. Hughes s bullies were his aunt, the preacher, and other grownups, people he had been raised to trust. He wrote, I had heard a great many old people say the same thing and it seemed to me they ought to know (7). Zinn stereotypes all of the Founding Fathers and rich men as bullies. The victims in both stories also differ. Langston and the other children in his church were victims, so they had even less power than the poor men, slaves, and Indians who Zinn believes were the victims in Untold Truths About the American Revolution. The end results also vary from each other. On one hand Hughes did not believe in Jesus anymore, and he felt disappointed in himself; another result in Salvation could be that Langston might have become distrustful of religion and/or authority figures. While on the other hand Zinn thinks not everyone benefited from war, and we might have fought a war that did not need to be fought. Zinn even has several sections on how each group did not benefit from the war. A result of the Revolution that Zinn did not highlight was that the colonists definitely won their independence. Relationship Driven B2B vs. B2C Marketing Business to business (B2B) is a term used to describe transactions of goods or services between businesses as opposed to business to consumer (B2C) which describes activities of commercial organizations serving end customers with products and/or services. B2B and B2C marketing is different. There are profound differences that a business must remember when developing marketing activities. Although the marketing programs are the same for each type of business (events, direct marketing, internet marketing, advertising, public relations, word of mouth, and alliances), how they are executed, what they say, and the outcome of the marketing activities differ (Murphy, 2007). While marketing programs are the same, how they are executed, what they say, and the outcome of the marketing activities differ. B2B marketing is relationship driven while B2C marketing is more product driven. The market size also varies between B2B and B2C markets. B2B markets are measured in the thousands while B2C markets are measured in the millions. Not only is the market different in B2B and B2C but so is the buyer. The business buyer understands the products or services and needs to buy the products or services to help the company to stay profitable, competitive, and successful. Therefore, B2B marketing must be more complex. Consumer buyers are looking for the best price and trust within the company and products. These article s main focus is on prosopagnosia. Sigmund Freud coined the term visual agnosia back in 1891. Visual agnosia is the ability to see an image and store it, but there is an impairment in visually recognizing the specific object. There are a plethora of subtypes of visual agnosia, which include prosopagnosia (the inability to recognize faces), achromatopsia (the inability to distinguish different colors), landmark agnosia (the inability to recognize buildings and places), etc. If one suffers from visual agnosia they can have multiple subtypes of associative agnosia. In the review case study, The Man Who Mistook his Wife for a Hat (Sacks, 1995), Dr. P was diagnosed with Prosopagnosia, Landmark Agnosia, and Simultagnosia. The first article, Reflections on the Self: A Case Study of a Prosopagnosic Patient by Stanley Klein, Rami Gabriel, Cynthia Gangi and Theresa Robertson take a look at a patient who suffers from prosopagnosia and how it can affect one s personality. His desire to mend his ways was brought about Through no disturbance of my soul,/ Or strong compunction in me wroughtŠ/ But in the quietness of thought (33 4, 36). The poem s devotion to an abstract concept exemplifies the willful internality of the poet s decision. This internality leads the poet to supplicate for thy control, an act that shifts the poem into the religious territory of reverence. Indeed, Wordsworth subtly raises his travel conceit from the earth to the heavens. In the quietness of thought, a time that is often reserved for prayer, he decides that Me this unchartered freedom tires;/ I feel the weight of chance desires (37 8). The unmapped liberalism of random urges weighs him down and bounds him to the earth; the austere and personified guardian of duty, on the other hand, steps lightly between the earth and the sky: Nor know we anything so fair/ As is the smile upon thy face;/ Flowers laugh before thee on their beds/ And fragrance in thy footing treads;/ Thou dost preserve the stars from wrong;/ And the most ancient heavens, through Thee, are fresh and strong (43 8). The craving for a repose that ever is the same, a constancy that may, in the future, hold for him a blissful course, is made salient in the comparison to stars, long regarded as shapers of destiny (40, 21).
