Walking through the double doors of school and to my very first locker, I took a breath and

but also to England. The Catholic Church had recently just built the St. Peter s Cathedral and

against the Catholic Church and their teachings and indulgences were the last straw. He believed
that all a person needs to reach heaven is faith. Luther set out preaching his words opposing and

faith. However, this caused the Reformation and the beginning of a new religion. The spread of
Protestantism among Europe brought impactful periods of disunity within the Holy Roman Empire
and England, yet unlike the Holy Roman Empire, England was unified in the end. The entire
reformation brought more disunity than unity from the beginning in the Holy Roman Empire
(Germany) after Martin Luther s Reformation. It started with Luther s Ninety Five Theses in 1517,
which was sparked by the Catholic church selling indulgences and spreading false ideas. Within
his theses, he called out the church for their wrong teachings and corrupt clergy. His words,
actions, and opinions inspired people and gave them a new hope, faith, and religion. He caused a
