Question 4/5
What would be the audience for your magazine and how did you attract/address them?

• My magazine is aimed mainly for Christian people who enjoy music and all
that’s related; the types of people that are interested in relevant currant affairs,
strong in their beliefs and also appreciate gospel.

• The person doesn't necessarily have to be male or female because my
magazine is unprejudiced; my magazine appeals to both sexes. I wouldn’t
want to just aim for either male or females because I want my magazine to be
available to as many people as possible.

• I always thought of my target audience as being people who are old enough to
understand the content and young enough to appreciate it. So my target
audience is people ages between 16-25.

   Front cover

The youthful vibe of the magazine was one
area that I was so focused on whilst creating
the magazine. This is because I really wanted
to make the target audience of the magazine
clear see readers through every page. The
colours and images that I used helped to
    achieve this.

The subject on this page is dressed in vary
fashionable way. The belt that he is wearing is a
designer belt that would be seen as appealing to
    the young target audience.
The fonts that are used are all modern looking
fonts; they all look stylish and suited.
The colour that I used more than any is Red. I
used this colour simply because it is my favourite
colour. I think the colours all look good together but
perhaps I could have made them more appealing
to both male and female audiences; it looks more
    aimed at the male audience.

  The fonts that are used are all modern looking fonts;
they all look stylish and suited. The colouring is fairly
bright and contrasting this is suited to my target audience
of 16-25 year old male and females.
The bar that cross diagonally across the page is used to
  create a cool look.
Because the page is rich in text I made sure that I
attracted my audience through the use of varied font
  styles, sizes and colours.
The image that I used simply shows two members o a
music band that would be known to my target audience.

The subject on the right page of this page is dressed
in a casual/non-formal way; the readers can relate to
the image because that is the type of way that they
would dress. He is depicted wearing “Beats by Dr. Dre
Solo” headphones, these headphones are very
fashionable and admired by many teens. Adding the
headphones to the image was used as an attraction.
The bar carries on onto this page and it changes
colour to red, this looks so effective and it matches the
   whole magazine’s style.
