2. Research and Development
• We learnt how to successfully navigate
different search engines in order to gain
information about opening title sequences.
• We watched various title sequences on
websites such as youtube, artofthetitle.com and
vimeo.

3. Pre Production
• We used a scanner to scan in our storyboard.
• Then we created an animation of our storyboard in
adobe premiere editing suite.

4. Production
• Using the Canon 550d we learnt how to adjust
focus, ISO levels, and exposure levels.
• Learning how to adjust these levels allowed us to
execute clean filmic style, with shallow focus which
did well with the DSLR.

5. Post Production
• We used editing programmes including sony vegas
and adobe after effects.
• In after effects we did colour correction using a
plugin called magic bullet looks. This was very
useful in creating the atmosphere of our film.
• In sony vegas we learnt how to sync, adjust light
levels, cut clips and apply transitions in-between
and after clips. For example in our sequence we
often used fade in from black.
