draft 5 of script

1. EXT.OUTSIDE TERRACE HOUSE.NIGHT
Myles a very smiley, charismatic 17 year old black lad
stands outside a house. Thumping music and some noises can
be heard. Myles takes a drag of his cigarette. A door opens
and DAN a large slicked black haired 17 year old dressed in
a black hoody and scarf exits the party
MYLES
Where the fuck have you been?
DAN does not respond and Myles starts to walk off.
EXT.LONELY BUS STOP
Dan and Myles reach the bus stop Dan lights a cigarette. We
see that there is only one bus left to come.
George enters, he has a cocky walk, he is 6ft dressed in a
leather jacket, black jeans, has short ginger hair, he looks
like a rebel. George walks to the bus stop and checks is
phone.
GEORGE
fuck! allow this
George looks Dan up and down, George walks over to Myles and
stands in between Dan and MylesÂ
GEORGE
 Alright Myles
MYLES
hi George (reluctant). still
fucking about?
GEORGE
yeah course, you still being a dork
Myles doesn't replyÂ
George then turns to Dan
GEORGE
oi Dan wanna give me a cig.
DAN
don't have any
GEORGE
shut up you've got one in your
mouth, (raises voice) set me oneÂ
DAN
I don't have any.
Dan gives George a belligerent smile then takes a pull of
his cigarette
George approaches Dan looking very intimidating, standing
over him.Â

2. MYLES
George just fuck off
George pushes Dan by his shoulder.Â
EXT.LONELY BUS STOP
MYLES
George just move on stop being a
prick, hes never done anything to
you
GEORGE
shut up, we all know that's not
true, Dan give me a cig now!
George pushes Dan again. Myles then grabs George by the
shirt. George grabs Myles shirt.
GEORGE
what are you gonna do, you're a
bitch you wont do anything.
MYLES
its better than being a dropout
with no friends.
Myles lets go of George and steps back. George then throws a
punch at Myles' face.Â
Last bus is approaching from a distance but the characters
are too involved with each other.Â
George and Myles are both swinging at each other. The bus
drives past them.
DAN
 shit! that's our bus!
George and Myles stop and watch the bus drive past.
GEORGE
shit! fuck you! you made me miss my
bus.
all three characters are standing round the bus stop. George
and Myles staring at each other with angry faces.
GEORGE
well we're screwed, how am i meant
to get home now.
Dan walks over to Myles
DAN
Myles lets gt a cab
MYLES
got any money?
DAN

3. nope
MYLES
no cab then, where are we
GEORGE
I'm fucked
DAN
We're fucked
MYLES
come lets go sort this out, if we
aren't home before my mum wakes up
my life is over
Myles and Dan walk off together
DAN
 lets just follow the bus stops
George is standing at the bus stop by himself.
EXT. EMPTY STREET
Myles and Dan are walking down the empty street together
when a car drives up next to them, the window rolls down and
Georges smug face appears
GEORGE
oi you two, you want a lift
MYLES
why would you give us a lift
DAN
Myles shut up its so cold come on
Dan walks over to the cab and gets in, Myles is standing on
the road for an extra couple seconds but then gets in too
INT. CAB
George Myles and Dan are sitting in the back seats of the
cab
MYLES
George why are you paying for us to
get a cab?
GEORGE
what do you mean, i only picked you
up cuz i though you both have money
DAN
for fuck sake
MYLES
(laughing) typical fucking George
GEORGE
so neither of you guys have money?

4. DAN
no if we had money why wouldn't we
be getting our own cab
the cab driver looks in the mirror at the characters
sitting in the back
MYLES
so what are we going to doÂ
DAN
okay lets just tell him and maybe
hell let us out.
GEORGE
fuck that.
George then opens the door and runs out of the cab, Dan
looks suprised and gets out the other door, Myles who is sat
in the middle is late to react, the cab suddenly accelerates
and Myles is still in the cab but cant get out because its
driving too fast.
EXT. EMPTY STREET
Dan and George are standing in the middle of the road, and
they see the cab drive off with Myles inside.
DAN
oh my god, we need to go get Myles
GEORGE
whatever, who cares, he can sort it
out himself
DAN
are you really that much of a dick,
your old best friend could be
getting raped or murdered and
you're not gonna do anything about
it
GEORGE
okay fine but how are we even meant
to find him
DAN
lets just fucking run after it
Dan and George then start running down the road after the
direction of the cab
INT. CAB
Myles is sitting in the back of the cab panicking, the doors
suddenly lock and the cab pulls up.
MYLES
please man let me out i had nothing
to do with that

5. The cab driver remains ominously silent
MYLES
i don't have any money, i thought
my mate did otherwise i wouldn't
have got in
CAB DRIVER
there's other ways that you can pay
the cab driver then gets out of the cab and shuts his door
but Myles sees that the keys are still in the car, Myles
then sees him walk round the cab to the boot of the car. he
then sees the driver open the car boot and grab a large
object.Â
Myles starts to panic even more, the door then opens and the
cab driver has a baton
CAB DRIVER
get out
Myles gets out of the cab and walks over to an alley but the
car door is left open
EXT. ALLEY
Myles is seen on his knees and the cab driver walks around
him with the baton resting on his head.Â
the cab driver is then facing Myles head on and we hear the
sound of a zipper going down.
we then hear the sound of a car engine and the cab driver
suddenly looks up and sees George at the steering wheel of
the cab and the man runs over.
Dan then runs into the cab driver as he walks out of the
alley
DAN
Myles hurry up lets go
Myles then rises to his feet instantly and runs out of the
alley and kick the cab driver as he runs past. George then
gets out of the car and runs off to join Myles and Dan
EXT. EMPTY STREET
Myles and Dan are walking ahead of George
MYLES
what an asshole
DAN
that was pretty jokes to be honest
GEORGE
oi i beg will you guys wait up

6. MYLES
why would we walk with you, you
just fucked me over
GEORGE
what do you mean, we just came to
save you
Myles turns around around and looks George in the face
MYLES
you're the reason i got into that
whole situation, i almost got raped
you prick
GEORGE
okay I'm sorry i didn't realise
that would happen, can i please
walk with you guys though
DAN
Myles lets just allow him, i
wouldn't have been able to get you
out of that without him
MYLES
okay fine come one then
GEORGE
can we go quickly, if i don't feed
my shark soon he might die
DAN
what! why the hell do you have a
shark
GEORGE
its just a baby but i thought it
would be a cool thing to have, lets
just be quick please
George catches up with Dan and Myles and starts to walk with
them
EXT.EMPTY STREET
George Myles and Dan are walking down an empty road. A Man
walks out of an alley, he looks older than the other three,
around 24. he is dressed in all black he stops them in their
path.
MAN
yo can one of you let me borrow
your phone quickly.
DAN
don't have any signal sorry
the man looks at Dan, focusing on him mainly.
MAN

7. i just want to check the time
George checks his watch
GEORGE
its 2:37, that good enough for you?
MAN
nope. i need to check something.
the Man approaches Dan, looking very scary.
MAN
oi mate give me your phone!
GEORGE
fuck this!
George swings and hits the man in the face. the man is
knocked to the floor and Myles Dan and George all start to
run.
EXT. EMPTY STREET
the three characters are running away from the man, Dan is
slower than George and Myles. you can see the man getting up
and starting to chase them in the distance. George looks and
sees that Dan is slowing down.
GEORGE
OI YOU TWO TAKE A RIGHT HERE!!!
all three characters take a quick right down a side road.
EXT. BACK ROAD
the three characters split up and hide behind cars and bins.
the man runs down the road stops and looks around
MAN
where the fuck are you!
the man walks right past where Dan is hiding. the man walks
off shouting
MAN
if i find you, you're all dead!
EXT. BACK ROAD
all three characters emerge from their hiding spots and meet
in the middle of the road.
MYLES
that was bloody close.
all three characters start to laugh.

8. GEORGE
come on we should keep going, we've
still got like an hour and a half
to walk until we get home.
the characters continue to walk
EXT. EMPTY STREET
GEORGE
well that was fun, just like old
times
MYLES
we never did anything like that
GEORGE
what do you mean, we were always
doing reckless shit, until...
MYLES
(cut him off)so what have you been
doing recently
GEORGE
you know the usual, just messing
about, playing xbox, going to the
occasional party, hows all that
school work bull
MYLES
its good me and Dan have both got
places at UCL
GEORGE
what the hell is that
DANÂ
its a university? (sarcastic)
GEORGE
fuck that, why would you wanna do
that
MYLES
I didn't want to continue messing
around taking the piss out of
strangers, pretending to be a
shitty gangster, doing nothing with
my life
Dan has a very suprised look on his face.
GEORGE
oh...
George looks down
EXT. EMPTY STREET WITH BENCH
all three characters walk past a bench but Dan sits down.

9. MYLES
Dan what are you doing?
DAN
I cant continue, I need a break its
too cold to walk.
George and Myles sit down on either side of Dan
MYLES
come on, we are so close its only
like half an hour
DAN
i cant move its too cold to do
anything.
GEORGE
here take this
George hands Dan his coat
DAN
are you sure you wont be cold?
GEORGE
don't worry about it, I'll be fineÂ
DAN
thanks man, i really appreciate
this.
all three characters stand up and continue to walk.
EXT. OUTSIDE MYLES' HOUSE
The three characters approach Myles' house. Dan and Myles
stop.
DAN
thanks for the jacket man
Dan hands Georges coat back to him
GEORGE
no worries
Dan then gives George his last cigarette
GEORGE
i knew you had one
George gives Dan a nice smile then walks offÂ

10. MYLES
Dan what are you doing?
DAN
