This document discusses the potential for mobile learning (mLearning) at universities. It explores how mobile technologies can enhance the learning experience by allowing students constant access to information, connectivity to communities, and portable individual workspaces. Examples are given of educational apps and interactive classroom technologies using mobile devices. The document argues that the future of education will be digital, with facts at our fingertips, constant engagement with real and virtual communities, and always-on access to individual learning environments.
