The 2nd

took place from 11 February to 13 February 2014. The Italian team consisted of 2 Italian teachers,
three schoolgirls and one schoolboy, the English team of 2 teachers, three schoolgirls and four

the school.
On Tuesday the whole group met at school and was warmly welcomed by the head mistress, Mrs
Lauer. Afterwards a number of German students took over the job to show the school to their
guests. After that the single student groups of each country presented their preparatory tasks for the
Comenius project. After the lunch break there was a sporting opportunity for the students. The
sports teachers, Mark Seibet and Marion Schwindling, were practicing Slacklining with the
students, while the teachers were meeting for a working group. The first project day ended, finally,
with a common dinner at a restaurant in the old town of Saarbrücken.

The whole group spent Wednesday in Mannheim. Setting out by coach the group visited the
technical museum there. The student had had the task to answer questions on the museum and to
create short video clips about the museum with their smartphones. Before that, however, the whole
museum was introduced by a museum employee and this in particular under the project-related
aspect of the economic and social crises of the last centuries.
Thursday morning was used by the participating teachers to plan the further course of this two-year
project. At the same time the guest students prepared their presentations about the Mannheim
museum visit. About midday the presentations were presented. After the last common lunch at our
school the time had come to say goodbye to the guests. Three very eventful and successful days
had passed in a flash and all partners are glad about a reunion at the next project meeting in April at
our partner school in London.
